A must-see for nature and conservation lovers - Hello everyone! I am a Biology student at the University of Cartagena and I had the opportunity to visit the Loros Foundation. Honestly, it left an incredible impression on me. Although the facilities are simple, everything is super clean and tidy, which shows the love and care they have for animals and the environment. The foundation team is the best, very friendly and always willing to share their knowledge! I learned a lot about how they rehabilitate and release parrots, and that for me, as a future biologist, was super valuable. The horseback riding was a cool adventure, although you have to admit that going up and down the hills is a little hard, but it is totally worth it for the views and the experience. But the best of all was seeing the place where the parrots are released. Now that was impressive! Seeing those birds fly free in their natural habitat filled me with emotion and reminded me why I chose to study Biology. Totally recommended for everyone who loves nature and animals!
