This distinctive historical spiritual site draws numerous visitors due to its tranquility, spiritual resonance, authenticity, and sanctity. Over 250 thousand crosses of all shapes and sizes are positioned on the Jurgaiciai mound near Siauliai, serving as emblems of Lithuania’s Catholic devotion and national identity. Following this, you’ll visit the park established to honor the resistance against the Soviet regime, which will be the first stop on your tour.

Vilnius is a beautiful city highly recommended for a short break - A very nice and cozy town. Many good and not expensive restaurants. Many cozy terraces. Much of Vilnius is traffic-free and ideal for hiking.
It is a highly recommended destination Vilnius for those who want to get away for a few days and do not want to pay the usury prices as in many more famous European capitals.

The Hill of Crosses - What a wonderful trip. Adam picked us up with a friendly warm welcome and provided an amazing experience. Lithuania has endured difficult struggles and Adam conveyed the tough realities with conviction & compassion. He brought to life the nations determination & resilience and was keen to tell us as much as he could. We could ask any question on any topic and received wonderful memorable stories and facts. We learned so much about Lithuania right up to life in the present day. Really impressed one of the best tours I have been on. We were given as much time as we needed at The Hill of Crosses which is such a special place.

Most moving experience - We travelled overland with Intrepid; from Helsinki to Vilnius. Many suites impressed me but here I was moved most, when I saw this hill full of many thousand of crosses . I had tears in my eyes and thought when I die; I would also like some one to put a cross here in my memory. What a lovely idea.

A must see experience with traditional lunch - The guide, Adam, was so knowledgeable, very friendly, kind. I just can’t say enough about how wonderful he was - superb & the best tour guide I’ve ever had. The Hill of crosses is a must see & the traditional Lithuanian lunch after was delicious (our guide explained everything on the menu).

Hill of Crosses Adventure - Adam was our private tour guide for the day and picked us up at our hotel in a very nice, new SUV. He was very knowledgeable of Lithuania and its history. He was accommodating with any special requests. He also took us to a restaurant that served traditional Lithuanian cuisine and helped us with ordering. We enjoyed our ride through the countryside to the Hill of Crosses, and the highlight of our trip to Lithuania was meeting Adam and learning so much from him. He is very personable, and we had great conversations with him.

Nice tour guide and good religious destination - I am very privileged I am the only tour member of the tour . My tour guide Adam is very knowledgeable and easygoing person. He shared a lot about the history , Russian- Ukrainian war and NATO policies. And we also shared our views about the world. This is not only the relaxation tour , but also the knowledge and friendship tour. He also recommended a very warm and tasty local restaurant. Nice food. Lithania is really worthy of traveling

A great experience - We are so glad that we booked this tour. Andreas our guide was so informative and helpful. He was a great driver and told us many stories of the history of Lithuania at the memorial park which was beautiful, and the Hill of Crosses was definitely worth the drive. Our lunch was also delicious and the portions were huge. Thank you to Andreas for a very memorable day. It was so much better than trying to see these places on our own.

Not disappointed just crosses - Combined fabulous driver and informative guide Andrius an interesting side trip to the Partisan Memorial Park (a memento cross for Ronald Reagan!) the Hill of Crosses itself not very high or far to work an extraordinary experience that will linger in the mind for ages Pope John Paul II (“half my heart belongs to Lithuania”) really put on the map this collective expression of homeland, artistic expression and religious resistance to oppression. Definitely worth the journey.

Long day, but broken up well - Adam did a great job breaking up the trip so we were never in the car for too long at one time. He was willing to stop whenever we asked (we booked a private tour). It is a long day, but Adam was great at answering all of our questions about Lithuania and had a wealth of knowledge to share.
