Excellent customized private tour - Our driver/guide Cyrus did a great job customizing our experience for my 84 year-old mother’s limited mobility. His car was clean and comfortable. He shared his local knowledge and made excellent recommendations at each stop. The archaeological site at Kernave was so beautiful. We took a private boat tour for €20 at Trakai, also beautiful, and walked back to the mainland from the castle, which was a good option for us. Back in Vilnius, we walked around Cathedral Square and I climbed the Vilnius University bell tower. We got dropped off at the Museum of Occupation, closed on Mondays and were able to visit for an hour before they closed for the day on Sunday.

Fantastic Tour - Great tour guide. We had already been in Vilnius a few days so had seen some of the sites in Vilnius itself already but he really brought them to life and we were shown things that we would never have known was there and found out some really interesting facts. Had a great day.

Excellent day of city, countryside, and fairy-tale like castles - Great, sweeping tour of history with a LOT packed into a single (enjoyable) day! My guide, Giedirus, was a smart, personable companion (he’s also a university teacher, which is always good) who took me off the beaten paths to see the city, the beautiful countryside, and the fairy tale Castle at Trakai. Kernave was a especially interesting addition to this tour because it sets up a missing part of the story that most people don’t see about how Lithuania became a culture during its pagan origins. Great tour!

learned so much - Wow. What a tour. I learned so much about the history of Lithuania and about Lithuania today. Trakai is a must see, and Karnave is quite lovely -- that alone made the trip worthwhile. But what made the trip amazing was all of the information and the contextualization. This was a great trip, and I highly recommend it.

Good trip for seeing the highlights in a limited time frame - This was a pretty good tour. The weather was great and the sites weee interesting. The guide provided some general comments about each of the locations and some details about the history-but didn’t overwhelm with facts. When on a very limited timetable for your trip, this is a nice way to see a bit of the highlights around Vilnius. If you have more time in Lithuania, maybe consider exploring on your own
