Beautiful bayou - Capital George! You can tell he loves what he does and loves the bayou. It was a bit chilly but he was such a great story teller that you forgot all about it. My 6 and 9 yo actually enjoyed some outdoor activities for once! We saw many birds but when we went it was too cold for gator. Didn’t matter to be honest as the trip was full of great southern charm stories. Come and see George and his beautiful bayou!

Captain George's Tales of the Bayou - Although this tour wasn't what we expected, it was quite wonderful! Captain George has enough stories to fill a book, and all of them are quite interesting. We got a glimpse of, and learned about the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina on the area and business as well as the BP spill. Along with that were tales of local life and lore and (truths?). Very entertaining! We did see a few gators, but most of them were in the water because of the cooler weather.

January Bayou Adventure - We had 3 generations of family go out on the tour an everyone loved it. Captain George was full of amazing stories and we learned so much about the wildlife, the bayou, local culture, and the effects of devastating storms including Katrina. It was a great experience and we highly recommend it.

A Slice of Bayou Life - Captain George was a great story teller; a real crabber; a lifetime bayou waterman who educated and entertained us with his knowledge and history of the animals and people that call the bayou home. Would love to come back in warmer weather when there is more wildlife.

More than Happy with Happiness! - An absolutely amazing experience. Captain George was a very reliable captain whom we felt safe riding with through the Bayou with our two girls (5 and 2 years old). He provided the most authentic and fun experience we could have hoped for. We saw lots of wildlife and heard a tremendous amount of hilarious local stories, interesting history and myths during our boat ride. Highly recommend!

Don’t Miss this Tour - Our family of four from Australia really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it. We saw some beautiful areas of the bayou and found the birds and plants and the odd animal - including a late season gator sighting - really fascinating. The main event, though, was Captain George and his inexhaustible bank of personal and local stories. He tells a mean story and had us hooked the whole time.

Great tour! - Our captain George was fantastic. He skillfully manuevered through the labyrinth of the bayou as he told stories of Katrina and local life. I was extremely impressed with the locals' dedication to maintaining a healthy ecosystem in the bayou. George was very knowledgeable of the wildlife, vegetation, and history of the area. The sites were beautiful to boot - the cranes, herons, live oak, and alligators! I would highly recommend.
