Incredible time on the water and views of Dolphins!! - We had such a great time out on this tour. Matt was an excellent guide who showed us a wonderful time. His passion and knowledge of the area was very impressive and he shared so much with us. The paddle out was easy though the water was completely calm. Would absolutely do this trip again! Don’t miss out!

Dolphins - Seeing the dolphins! Our two tour guides were informative and friendly. I will likely return when my two kids are older so that they can enjoy this.

Excellent day on the Bay - Met the tour guide at a park on the Chesapeake Bay. Instructions to get to the park were confusing our GPS but the tour company provided excellent directions by text. Meghan was our guide. She got everyone in life jackets quickly and gave a safety speech and talked about what we were going to see and do. She then quickly got us all in the water. The Bay was calm, pace was slow and easy to keep up with. Over the next two hours we must have seen 10 pods of dolphins. Meghan explained everything and included some local information on places to eat. Highly recommend this tour and this company.

Enjoyable paddle - Unfortunately, there was a threat of thunderstorms that delayed our start, but once we got going all was well. The waves were about a foot high which made paddling more of an exercise but still very enjoyable. We did see a couple if schools of dolphins at a distance which was beautiful. Thank you to our guides who were very friendly and patient.

Tour operator fail and no dolphins. - Our trip was not ideal. I don’t hold it against the company (Chesapean Tours) for there being no dolphins on this tour as you can’t control Mother Nature and therefore can’t guarantee dolphins. I can, however, fault the tour operator for things within their control. The tour the morning we went was a group of 20+. One of the guides had called in sick leaving one guide for 20+ people. This is not meant to disparage the guide, Meghan, as she was absolutely wonderful and did the best she could given the circumstances. However some on our tour had never kayaked and before we even left the shore 1 kayak had already tipped. 30 min of our tour time was wasted getting this sorted. Those of us already on the water had to hold in place as the guide didn’t want us going off on our own. Once we finally got going another kayak started filling with water and there was a scramble to get him back to shore. Another wait for us while this was sorted. Had there been two guides this could have been avoided as one guide could have assisted those in need while the other could take the rest of us out on the tour. This was an epic fail on the part of the tour operator and did not make for a very enjoyable morning on the water.
