Fun kayaking - NIne high school friends took the tour with Matt and had a delightful time. He was funny, friendly and very informative. It was clearly evident his love for the area and water. Even though no dolphins were sighted, this experience was well worth it.

Great way to end the day - Took the Sunset Dolphin Tour after what ended up being a stressful day. Upon arriving, there was a guide at the beach access point giving directions to where the kayaks were. Helpful. On the beach, Matt, the owner, was our guide and was greeting everyone and giving us an overview of what to expect. He demonstrated how to properly use the paddle so not to hurt yourself and went over basic safety points. We were all given a life jacket and helped into a kayak. I am not a strong kayaker but with the newly received paddling tips, I did much better than I have in the past. Once out on the water, we spotted some dolphins in the distance and paddled over to them. Saw some fins, water being exhaled out of the blowholes and some swimming through the water. Matt gave us some interesting information regarding the habits of dolphins. Sunset was lovely that night, the colors were striking. It was calm, quiet, not windy, the perfect spot to watch the sun go down. What was really nice is that no one was rushed off the water. Matt was happy to hang around and wait for anyone who wanted more time on the water to take in those extra minutes of peace and serenity. The perfect way to end a stressful day.

Enjoyed paddling , no dolphins. - I have mixed feelings about the tour. Honestly it was fine. Due to wind conditions the tour was moved from the bay to the inlet. It was a nice two mile paddle. Some couples seemed to be having difficulty with their kayaks but everyone eventually ended up where they were supposed to be. We saw no dolphins because we could not go out onto the bay because of wind conditions- we also didn’t see the lighthouse or the Chesapeake bay bridge tunnel. The Kayaks are well worn. So I would say if you get this location change update, maybe skip it unless you just feel like a nice paddle on the water.
