Highlights
  • Lesendro - Lesendro is a peninsula and fortress on Skadar lake, located near the village Vranjina. The fortress was built in the 18th century. It is located on the peninsula that was an island until the construction of the Belgrade - Bar railway line. During the reign of Bishop Peter II Petrović-NjegoÅ¡, it served as a defense against Turkish attacks.

Tour plan: Departure is from Virpazar. Cruising begins through a beautiful little channel surrounded by various plants and birds, after which we come to a bigger part of the lake. By boat we pass under the bridge which is part of the main road Podgorica – Bar. Lesendro is located just behind the bridge.

Just after Lesendro, we are cruising through bird reservation and narrow channels surrounded by water lilies, reeds and water nuts, as well as cruising through river Moraca.

After that you will see big and small Cakovica islands where we will make a break for swimming - we call it wild swimming. After swimming we will go back to Virpazar.

A must! - A magical moment by boat on Lake Skadar. There were ten of us on board of various nationalities. The open-bar cooler (fruit juice, wine) was duly appreciated by these strong heats, as was the plunge into the lake at 25°C which did not result in any passage to the dermato returning despite the emerald green of the water:-). The customer promise was there: birds (many but quite few varieties), binoculars, photo spots by the captain, incredible landscapes. But above all, the credit for this two-hour ride goes to the humble Captain Boban who knew how to put a very nice atmosphere with delicate little touches to brighten the crossing for young and old. I'm not saying any more to avoid spoiling. We feel a hint of friendly respect from the other captains we meet for Boban, as much as we feel he loves his lake. True, he says himself, English is not his strong suit (which is not entirely fair, he does well), but it did not spoil our trip or our interactions. In short, for a change of scenery compared to the beaches, beautiful landscapes (you can see as far as Albania on a clear day), a little bite of freshness and photos that will make your colleagues drool, go for it! Mention also to the young woman who was our liaison at the Eagle Boat rally point, very nice and educational.

Lovely couple with a lovely boat - Good communication and nice tour. Regular stops were made for a photo. It was a hot day and the skipper had ice cold drinks on board which made the trip refreshing.

Five stars ✨ - Ivona and Mitar made us very comfortable and make effort to make the tour very pleasant. You get way more than what you pay, they make breaks for nice photos, swimming as well and in addition there are refreshments whole the time. The tour is perfect combination of fun activity, meeting Montenegrin wild beauty and experiencing domestic hospitality.

Ecpectation Management - It is all about expecation Management. The Tour was nice and the landscape is beautiful. However, we didn't stop for a swim or get binoculars, as promoted on this side. These were the reasons i picked this tour from all the others and was waiting in my swim gear for the bathing Spot on the warm day. The Guide was nice and the Group was small, 10 people.
