Step aboard our boat and explore the wild beauty of Lake Skadar. Enjoy the scenery with a glass of local wine and listen to the stories hidden within the lake’s waters. Watch the birds glide through the air and take a refreshing swim.
- Virpazar - The tour begins in Virpazar, the townlet located on the shores of Lake Skadar. Tucked inside a comfortable Kingfisher boat we will first cruise through channels overgrown in reeds.
- Vranjina - You will soon see Vranjina, aiming at the sky with its two peeks. You will proceed to the left, under the nearby bridge.
- Lesendro - Gliding through the meadows of water chestnuts, you will discover the centuries-old fortress Lesendro.
- Moraca River - The place where Lake Skadar meets its largest tributary, the river Morača, is the perfect for spotting rare bird species. Admire their sound and beauty as you glide through the bird sanctuary area.
- Skadar Lake National Park - Nearby, a stunning view awaits - Thousands of floating, dark-green water lillie leaves. Marvel at this beautiful sight and try to spot some baby bird nests.
- Pavlova Strana Viewpoint - Sights that follow will satisfy your traveller’s thirst equally. As you sail along the picturesque fjord Pavlova strana, you will reach Rijeka Crnojevića, a small fishing village.
- Rijeka Crnojevica - Explore this beautiful spot, situated only a few kilometres from the historical capital of Cetinje.
The old stone bridge, named after Prince Danilo, will be the first to welcome you, next to the one-story building, built on the left shore of the river. You can’t overlook it – it lies at the entrance of this beautiful townlet, and although built in the 15th century, it still looks impressive.
During the 19th and early 20th centuries, Rijeka Crnojevića was the largest Montenegrin port and the leading trade centre. Today, this town exudes the perfect atmosphere for experiencing the Montenegrin mentality – a historically significant place filled with authentic architecture and beautiful nature.
