For the second leg of our tour, our destination is Sighisoara’s core, Europe’s last inhabited Citadel. Marvel at its cobbled byways, quaint alleys, and vibrant residences. The Old Town Square, an UNESCO safeguarded site, boasts of medieval architecture, a legacy of the Saxon settlers of the 1100s. They also erected numerous formidable towers, each bearing the name of their respective guilds. If medieval history stokes your interest and curiosity, Sighisoara is your ideal spot. It’s also noteworthy as the birthplace of Dracula, or Vlad the Impaler.

Great day in Transylvania - We loved touring with a guide who also loves to photograph! He patiently guided us to great spots to get the best shots. Looking back at our photos were a big WOW! Also, he knew all the history for the day. He was also flexible to meet our needs with no rush to meet a hidden timeline.

Loved this tour with Sorin - Had a blast on this tour! Sorin was our tour guide and he was so kind and knowledgeable. He spoke English for us and had an answer to every question we had. He made sure we got to do everything we wanted to do and helped with pictures too.
Enjoyed a nice lunch with him (not included) but great conversation.
Happy we took this your Romona was easy to communicate with and Sorin held a great tour. Enjoy!

Lovely day out in Transylvania - We enjoyed our day with Ramona as she showed us round the pretty Saxon town of Sighisoara & Viscri village and told us many interesting things and stories about them. Ramona was a great tour guide and looked after us well and always ensured we were enjoying our day. We sampled langos for lunch on her recommendation and they were delicious! She also picked us some green walnuts and plums along the way which were lovely!
We really appreciated her answering our many questions about life in Romania - both now and in the past - and thankfully she didn't seem to mind this 😆
We did 3 different tours with 3 different tour companies while we were in Brasov and Ramona was the best tour guide we had! So knowledgeable and ensured we had a great tour.

A lovely exploration - Our driver Rado took us to see beautiful little villages in Transylvania. The scenery was beautiful, the churches a delight and Rado's driving and explanations of Romanian life were excellent.

We drove from Brasov to Shigisora and Viscri. Had a wonderful tour of the old town, beautiful drive, unique tour. - Our tour guide was so impressive and knowledgeable. She provided us so much history and had many references for us to better understand the area. It was a very relaxing and thorough tour. We enjoyed our meal so much…homemade and so filling. An easygoing tour guide and very professional. Highly recommend.
