Wonderful experience in Kangaroo Island - It was a wonderful experience. Our guide Adam was very knowledgeable and full of information about the local flora and fauna, which he shared with us as we ventured into the forest. We spotted 18 koalas—big and small, male and female—while they were eating or sleeping curled up on the eucalyptus branches. Seeing them in their natural habitat, calm and peaceful, is an unforgettable experience!

Nice morning tour ! - We booked the tour 1 day in advance and I was not sure how it would turn out. Luckily we were alone at the walk tour, and our guide could speak our mother tongue too! Candice was really knowledgeable and friendly. The kids loved asking questions and looking around to spot koalas. We saw in total 14 koalas, most of them awake and interested by us somehow . I highly recommend this tour which is not crazy expensive as you see koala into the wild and found out also some fun facts about the nature.

Excellent woodland walk, with a surprise visit to the dunes. - We booked a koala walking tour in advance of our arrival at Kangaroo Island. We were not disappointed with the near 120 minute experience. There was a friendly welcome and check-in and then we set off with our guide, Fox. We were just a couple on the tour, which was great, although the tour does need a minimum of 2 to run. Fox checked in with us to make sure we were ok during the walk. We started the walk through lovely woodland, with Fox explaining interesting facts as we went. We found several koalas, which were picture perfect and our photos will make happy memories. The terrain changed several times, including alongside a river (although with little water). It was really interesting to see the changing landscape. After about an hour and 10 minutes, we were given the option of looking for more koalas or taking a walk out to the sand dunes (hence the name Little Sahara). We took the dunes option. The walk so far was pretty much on the flat, but on the dunes there are few ups and downs, but no problem for anybody used to walking a little. The dunes were spectacular and it was an opportunity to see more wildlife, including various birds and a goanna. We were very pleased with our tour and Fox added real value to the trip. We would thoroughly recommend.
