My best experience in Iceland - Vok Baths was the best spa we visited in Iceland out of 3 (Forest Lagoon & Blue Lagoon). The stuff is really friendly, nice amenities like a wet sauna and the ability to jump in the real cold lake (that I personally loved a lot). Highly recommended!

Hot Springs and Cold Plunge - Absolutely loved my time at Vok! The hot springs pools were a fantastic way to end a long day of hiking and exploring! Jumping in the adjacent lake for a cold plunge and then returning to the hot springs was absolutely invigorating!

Super location - Great experience! The location is superb. New and elegant structure, beautiful and well organized changing rooms. Three artificial pools of geothermal water at three different temperatures immersed in a natural lake. The view is impressive and the experience of diving into the lake (temperature of 8 ° in August) is something incredible. One of the most beautiful spas I have visited.

Excellent fun. - A lovely and modern Geothermal Bathing complex with various hot pools and an opportunity to dive directly into the adjacent lake which is cold but not too cold. Recommended.

My favorite - Our favorite Better than the blue lagoon which is a cash factory And that the Forest spa, whose view is veiled Here, 3 pools with a real view of the lake in which it is inserted Of the world but space to circulate Very clean, shower and dressing room without private cabin Here, we are not shocked by nudity 46€, admission is not given But it's everywhere the same rate to pay Hot spot of reykjaladur, if we are looking for free

Great day - Incredible experience. We decided to go here instead of the Blue Lagoon because we heard several unpleasant things from the locals about it. Loved being able toto go from the hot baths to the freezing lake! That is optional of course but amazing! Also loved being able to stay as long as we wanted. The tour offered by our cruise ship was very expensive and only allowed an hour at the baths. Be sure to book a taxi service ahead of time if you are going from the cruise port. The Vok baths website has info on the taxis.

a good address for a quick lunch - An ideal place to have lunch on your way back from Stuðlagil Canyon before flying to Reykjavik at Egilsstadir Airport. The Vok baths are located on Lake Urridhavatn in elegant contemporary architecture made of concrete, wood and glass, and a green roof. Icelanders come here, certainly to swim in the 3 swimming pools that project on the lake, but also to enjoy a light but qualitative restoration. The fully glazed restaurant room offers views of the baths and lake. The welcome is friendly and the cuisine is simple but good (spicy pulled beef – humus).

Under-whelming, shabby, expensive - The experience failed to live up to the expectations. I felt like I was being ripped off throughout the whole thing. Welcomed rather coldly and that is where the lovely spa image started to fade. Compared to other pools and lagoons Vök is a little shabby with rotten wood, peeling paint, and loose screws. The complimentary tea bar had a very sad selection as well. I'm a little sad and bitter I paid all this money for the admission, because it's not cheap.
