Spectacular Santorini Caldera Cruise - First of all, Caldera Yachts went above and beyond to help us with a difficult situation. Carnival Legend switched ports and then would not let us take one of the earlier tenders to port😡, so we completely missed our meeting time. We called the tour operator and they arranged for a 30 minute later cruise for us. Pulios and Katerina, the crew, we're absolutely fantastic! We toured the coastline on our way to the Hot Springs at Nea Kameni volcano. They explained to the geology and history of the island on the way and taught us a few things about sailing. They were also fantastic chefs, cooking up a Greek barbecue dinner rivaling anything we've had on the ship. The husband and wife pair took excellent care of us, it was a first class all the way! Five stars, highly recommend! Ask for Pulios and Katerina!

Outstanding Experience! - While visiting Santorini we went out on a sunset sailing charter with Caldera Yachting Santorini. It was a perfect experience! The crew, Captain Nikolaos and First Mate Dimitri did an excellent job of providing outstanding service. We sailed from Oia on the north end of Santorini and we made three stops as we sailed south. At our last stop we had a nice BBQ dinner with chicken, shrimp, and sausage. This was the highlight of our time in Santorini! We highly recommend!

Just jump in the boat - I couldn’t recommend it enough, it was an amazing tour by Panorama boat through colorful beaches in Santorini. Ulas and his crew were also kind, communicative and cheerful and that makes our day wonderful, thanks for all guys.

Sunset cruise - We booked this as the company was recommended by our hotel. We did a sunset cruise 5 years ago (see my other review) and have to say that this one wasn’t as good. We felt rushed by the staff and didn’t seem to stop to swim as much. What we did like was everyone who joined us on the trip and we all got on great and spoke to people from different countries and backgrounds.

A bit underwhelming, we expected more for 160 euros - The reason I'm giving it an "average" is that my friend and I have done several cruises in similar places (Croatia, Malta, ...) and they were considerably cheaper (this one was 160 euros per person for 5 hours on the boat), more scenic and overall more enjoyable, it was a bit "underwhelming". We were picked up from Oia by Ilias who was incredibly friendly, he made sure we were all comfortable and he guided us to the boat. The boat was the OASIS with captain Manolis and crew Rea, Kostas and Matheo. They were all very helpful and nice. Our first stop was the volcano where we had around 10 minutes to swim which seems short but it was enough time to float around in the green sulphury water. We were offered a snack: salty crackers with olive spread and cucumbers. We continued to the area of White Beach, the boat stopped and we went into the sea to snorkel. One of the crew threw some bread in the water to attract some fish but even then it was terribly underwhelming, there was no coral and hardly any fish so not the most exciting spot to snorkel. After about 10 - 15 minutes we were called back on board for dinner. With bread, rice, Greek salad, stuffed vine leaves, giant beans, shrimp saganaki, mussels, BBQ chicken and sausage the choice was ok for non vegetarians, if I was the one vegan person on our boat then I would have been quite disappointed especially for that price.... Our last stop for snorkeling was near Red Beach but nobody felt the need to get into the water again. As a desert we got some apple slices with honey and cinnamon. The final stop before heading back to the port was a nice spot to see the sunset and take photos. All in all it was an ok experience but it was too expensive for what it was in our opinion. We've done much nicer day cruises for a lot less money.

Unprofessional crew and half experience for full price - We bought the classic caldera yacht experience for sunset. We went on the boat the “Panorama” on the 10th of August 2024. The boat was planned for departure at 15:00. We arrived at the harbor at 15:00 and told to wait in the sun for some time. It ended up becoming 15:40 before we departed on our trip. The crew was very stressing throughout our departure and basically yelling instructions and making everyone onboard equally stressed. We sailed past the red and white beaches where the crew pointed them out and said not to worry, as we would stop there later. We sailed for some time stopping at the volcanic stones to swim for 10! Minutes, it was very rushed. Then we departed for the next stop where lunch was served and there was some time for swimming while the food was prepared. Then we departed towards the white beach. We passed the white beach without explanation and no stop. Then to the red beach also without stop or explanation. I asked the crew why aren’t we stopping at the white beach and now the red beach. They said to me “do you really want to go to the red beach, like a lot?” In a taunting manners. I just replied that it was promised in the experience, that there would be stops in the white beach, red beach and that they had promised this as the start of the tour themselves. The crew member yelled at the captain to turn the boat around and they did, towards the red beach, dropping the anchor while making a big show of it. The lady in the crew then came to me and said, while showing me the map of the tour, highlighting these stops “You just have to know in the future when you go on a trip in Greece. you have to tell the crew where you want to stop, else they won’t and then they will improvise” making it out to be my fault???. When we had anchored at the red beach, the crew now urged me to jump in the water, as I had made a big show of wanting to stop at the red beach, taunting me to jump in the water, getting annoyed when I didn’t jump in. Again we departed from the red beach after 10 minutes of swimming to watch the sunset, which was very pretty to be fair. We have been on another boat tour in Greece, Paros, that was 10x better experience than this and are shocked at the behavior of the crew and the "experience" which was never delivered. We basically had 2/5 stops in the experience, making it 3/5 when we took action, the equivalent of going to a restaurant for a 5-course meal while getting served two courses, having your table being forgotten and when you finally ask about your service you get a little snack and a slap in the face while still paying the full price. Overall I would NOT recommend this company. But do book a sunset cruise another place, it is not to miss.
