Enchanting & Historic - Best tour guide and driver ever - vast knowledge of Albania's turbulent history, prompt pick-up from Vlore, very comfortable car.
The place that stole my heart was the castle of Porto Palermo - absolutely breathtaking and the history is so interesting.
Sarande is so beautiful and the Blue Eye was gorgeous - all the sounds of the insects and nature on the walk up to the Blue Eye - lots of beautiful blue dragonflies and butterflies. Can you spot the face with horns in my picture of the water?
We stopped for a beer in the medieval village of Gjirokastra - beautiful market place - some lovely art pieces.
This trip was excellent value for money as it covered such a large area of southern Albania.
I absolutely loved it and recommend it highly.
