An experience not to be missed - This is an experience not to be missed. Leo and the crew were amazing, the food was on another level. Our lovely tour guide Bai was knowledgeable, fun and hard to keep up with on a kayak. If you are not good with stairs this is not for you. Also take a water bottle as no plastics are permitted and you will need it.

Amazing away from the crowds experience! - My husband and I had an amazing experience at the Dragon Legend Cruise for 3 days and 2 nights. The cabin was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The big windows inside the room and the bathroom were really special because even when we were resting inside the cabin we felt we were enjoying every second of the Bay views. The food provided at the boat was very high quality and delicious. We had many prawns, squids, fish and meat during the cruise. The meals had a beautiful table set up and the nights had lights that were very charming. The cocktails were also good and the crew were very kind and attentive. Our favorite activity of the program was the beach BBQ followed by swimming in a private and beautiful beach. We were the only ones there and we felt very privileged to enjoy such an amazing place away from the crowds. Kayaking was also great and we never met another cruise ship during the activities, It was only our cruise colleagues. The stop at the puppet show on the last day before going to Hanói was also a nice plus, and their transfer limousine is very comfortable with kind drivers. We highly recommend Dragon Legend and would love to come back.

Would highly recommend this trip, a real highlight. - We really enjoyed the whole cruise experience - it was a relatively small boat so felt intimate and we got to know our fellow passengers and crew. The rooms were well appointed. The food was excellent and the crew were efficient and friendly. Led by our wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide, Coco, we did kayaking, swimming off the boat, visited a cave, had a wonderful bbq on the beach and also visited a traditional fishing village. We also had free time to relax on board surrounded by the beaurfiul landscape.

Fantastic cruise! - Fantastic 3-day, 2 night cruise had on the Prince II. There are four cabins of which we had two. The food was delicious and of very high quality. With a 3-day cruise you go a little further away, making it quieter and less touristy. Thanks to the Guide Chang for the good service!

Excellent trip - What an amazing experience. From scenery to the excellent service we received from the team onboard the Dragon Pearl 2. The food was outstanding with a particular highlight being a bbq on a secluded beach where we swam also. Coco was an excellent tour guide, giving plenty of useful information, nothing was too much trouble. Don’t hesitate to book, it will be one of the highlights of visiting Vietnam.

Amazing crew - I’m not sure if the names are correctly spelled but we did enjoy the company of bai bai, smiley, Mr b (bill) and the young 25 year old manager (Leo?) and the rest of the staff. Everyone is so hard working and did so many things. Serve, dock the boat, clean, take orders, entertainment, set up for all meals etc. they made the experience enjoyable. I felt bad for them with the snobs they had to deal with complaining about seating for dinner… but other than that the overall experience was great. I do warn those who care about the environment… there is trash in the ocean when you kayak and there’s trash on the beach when you do the lunch on the second day. Lots of pollution coming from the boats, probably makes the water so warm lol… it’s hard observing the way the fishing village lives day to day with skinny cats and dogs running around. Highly recommend tipping to support the rowers there. Room was perfect ! Loved the view of the bay from our big window and relaxed a lot. I want to mention the cave “hike” was pretty short, but it was hot so that was a good thing. Meals are delicious and drinks were all yummy as well. Loved the banana smoothie, Vietnamese coffee and hot cocoa the best. Heading there in the luxury van was awesome because we had massage chairs lots of space and it was just 6 of us but heading back the van was not as luxurious and had 7 this time with less room. Keep that in mind I guess… Anyway, overall 5/5!

Overpriced and Disorganized - The scenery of Halong Bay is stunning (when you ignore the trash). But for Indochina Junk, it's overpriced and disorganized. I did this tour 8 years ago and it was wonderful, but my recent experience was really disappointing. We did the 3D2N dragon legend. Positives + Very nice rooms, with a window out to see when you shower and a huge tub + Lots of food. You won't go hungry as long as you love seafood  + Convenient pickup and dropoff in a van with WiFi  Negatives  + So much squid and prawns. They were not well prepared or particularly tasty, but the quantity was a lot. Beware if you have kids. + Really hectic itinerary. The tour guide communicated in a way that was pretty stressful, commanding us around and trying to keep a precise schedule. Many activities didn't have a good way to skip. Not relaxing. + The facilities were fraying (see photos). Peeling wallpaper, holes in towels, etc. If it were cheaper, this would be okay, but it's too expensive for stuff like this.  + It was disorganized. We went to one kayaking place to then learn they didn't have enough kayaks, so got back on the boat and went to another place that had paddles that were too short for adults. At another point we took a sharp turn to go to one beach and discovered it was covered in trash so had to go to another beach. The second beach still had lots of trash and ultimately the beach lunch was interrupted by high tide. See photos  + Tables and food were shared, almost like a cafeteria. Sometimes they didn't even have serving utensils. This feels like a hostel. For the price, I'd expect to at least have your own table like in any restaurant. Overall, if it were $100 USD cheaper it would be fine, but for the price you could live like king for weeks in Vietnam
