Excellent! Excellent! Excellent!! - What an amazing trip ! My husband and I had joined this non-profit private walking tour. Hoà and Lily were our tour guides. They were so informative and helpful in walking around Hanoi with us. Since we are over 70 years old, they were slowing down their paces to walk around with us. They held our hands to cross the roads. They took a lot of photos for us. We felt like travelling with our family. We really enjoyed the trip! Thank you Hoà and Lily ! You both have done an excellent job ! Keep it up ! Joanne n Philip From Canada

Very informitive, a great way to gain and understand local knowledge. Really nice people. - The two students who took us around Hanoi were absolutely excellent. They shared knowledge about all of the tourist attractions and were happy to tell us about their education and family life which I found fascinating. I enquired about politics and religions and local customs and the food ordinary people eat. They explained how people live and the everyday things. They were both a fountain of knowledge. We went to a local restaurant for coco nut coffee which was excellent..... I think they spent a lot more time with us than they were supposed to but I had so many questions and they seemed so happy to answer....... One of the best experiences and tours we had during our 3 months in Vietnam, I would highly recommend. Don't forget to give a nice Tip the guides really deserve it. AidansTravels.

Very rewarding and nice, better than expected. - The tour really exceeded our expectations. We were contacted in advance with the question of what we wanted to see. We did not specify anything special, but replied that we were interested in history, culture and architecture. Our skilled and dedicated guides Anna and Huyen led us safely through Hanoi’s busy traffic and we got to see some of the most important sights. We had interesting conversations about culture and history. The English was not perfect but good enough.

Hanoi Historic Site Walking Tour - We arranged for a day walking tour to visit the key historic sites around the Old Quarter in Hanoi. Jade was our guide. She was very informative, knowledgeable and friendly. She was also very accommodating to tailor the tour and our stops around our preferences and interests. I would highly recommend Jade if you are looking for someone to show you the main historic sites of Hanoi.

Solo exploration of Hanoi - I had an excellent time touring Hanoi with Trung! I only had one day to explore Hanoi on my trip — he made sure the day was customized to exactly what I wanted. We ended up spending ~6 hours out and about, and I got a true sense of Hanoi (from the touristy things to the local quiet spots) Would highly recommend this tour - very accommodating

Wonderful tour with wonderful people - We had a wonderful tour of Hanoi with Sao and Thao. The two of them were super attentive, open-minded and absolutely and individually responded to our interests during the tour. They were also super nice to our five-year-old son. They showed us a lot and also told us a lot about life in Hanoi. Was really fantastic- gladly everyone again! Thank you both!

Best Tour Ever! - We had an absolutely amazing time on this tour! Our student communicated with us about her time and was right on time! We had 2 students and they were incredible. We learned so much from them! We didn’t really have an agenda, we were happy to go wherever they thought we should go but you can lay out an itinerary. We prefer to “wing it” and happy we did because they took us places we didn’t know were there! Saw some pagoda’s, cultural center, walked the lake, Hanoi prison and a nice coffee stop, had great conversation and it was a mutually beneficial cultural exchange. After 3 hours my feet gave out before they did, but they probably would have kept going! Their English was already very good but it gives them more practice and they taught us some Vietnamese! They also taught us how to cross the streets safely! Please remember that these are students and it’s a free tour. Plan on paying the small entrance fees for your student, food if you get some, for yourself and any transportation fees. The grab cab back, 2 kilometers was 1.94. Please make sure you tip them. One of the students took a bus an hour and a half each way. These are bright, eager students so treat them with respect and don’t be a cheapskate. You’d pay a lot more for an “organized” tour and not get this experience!
