Fantastic- loved every minute. - The trip was very well organised from the moment we left HCM until our return. I cannot praise our guide Lam enough. He was very informative and genuine. The tour was even better than described. Not once were we pressured to buy anything as all was included and free to enjoy. All we had to do was sit back and enjoy the experience. Having a small boat was great as more authentic and enabled us to get close to the sellers. Totally recommend this trip with Lam.

Beautiful and peaceful Mekong Delta tour - Overall a very good experience. Very quiet and relaxed tour with lovely experiences. It was less touristy and we were away from the other tourist boats. We were given great support and accompanied on the way to Can Tho. The food was also very tasty. Fabulous Mekong Eco-Tours was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Edward, our tour guide, was also super relaxed and explained everything to us.

What an absolutely incredible and unforgettable experience - My favorite tour so far! - My friend booked this tour and I’ve heard mixed reviews about the Mekong delta feeling too touristy so i was a bit nervous but OH MY GOSH this absolutely exceeded my expectations ten fold! This was truly one of my favorite travel days ever. It was exactly what i was looking for in Vietnam. It felt authentic and was worth waking up at 2am to see the sunrise on the delta. Our guide Thi and our boat driver couldn’t have been better. It felt like we were all friends on a day out. Thi speaks very good English so there was never a moment where it was difficult to understand what was being said. I learned so much about local life, local agriculture, tried many new foods right off the plant on our walk, ate a wonderful breakfast on the boat, sang karaoke to all the people we passed (sorry to their ears😂) , and she even made us whistles out of leaves and a plant necklace haha. Our boat driver made us beautiful flowers out of items she picked off nearby plants. We learned how to make noodles at a local noodle place and went to a local cacao farm and learned all about that as well and had a delicious cacao drink. Sorry for all the rambling but it was truly a blast! I highly recommend. You can tell Thi loves her job because it’s evident in the energy she gives. :) Also big shout out to our driver!! He was very sweet. Vietnam drivers can be a bit intense but I felt very safe and comfortable and was able to sleep the entire way. He provided water and neck pillows (!!!) , didn’t play music and rarely honked so we were able to sleep on the way there and back the whole time as it’s a very long drive.

10/10 Mekong Delta Tour Thanks to Thi Cao! - This was arguably the best tour I had throughout all of Vietnam. 10/10. The pickup is early but it’s worth it the second you see the sunrise on the Delta. Private driver is super sweet, on time, and very helpful prepping you with pickup confirmations day before. Kept the car clean, quiet (so we could sleep) and gave us the comfiest pillows. Provided bathroom breaks on the way over before boarding boat. Pickup is around 2:30 AM, you’ll arrive at 5:30 AM. Ride about 40 min to Cai Rang Floating Market. You’ll eat (yummy) breakfast noodles on boat from one of the vendors. From there you’ll tour the rice factory (and have a try at some of the noodle making steps with the owners!), sail the famous small canals, walk the countryside a bit (if you request it), have a delicious cocoa drink at the cocoa farm and hear from the old farmer/owner which was pretty interesting. Wrap around 12:30 or so and you’re back in HCM around 3 or so. If available you HAVE to request Thi Cao (@howdoyouknowcaothi). She’s extremely knowledgable, tells you SO much about everything from the local people/traditions, fun facts about the delta and market, history of each region, and knows probably every single plant you come across as you walk the countryside. She’ll help you buy nothing you want at the market if you want to pick up fresh fruit. She’s actually SO hilarious and we had a blast connecting during the tour. Felt like an old friend was showing us around. Bonus: she hooked us up with mobile karaoke on the ride back which made the time fly AND sang me happy birthday!!! Thi was super helpful in getting us all prepped the day before, checked in on us frequently, made sure we got loaded in the car okay, took tons of photos for us, whole 9 yards. You could tell she loves being a tour guide which made all the difference. Boat driver was also extremely kind (made us flower roses and bracelets as little keepsakes) and was very supportive during our karaoke sesh lol.

Great tour with pick-up in Saigon. Would definitely do it again. - The tour was really cool and perfect if you're in Saigon. You have to get up early, but it's well worth it. You're picked up and get on the boat at around 5:30 a.m. The sun is just rising and you drive around between the boats of the floating market. We also visited a rice noodle factory and a cocoa plantation. Breakfast was included and was prepared on the floating market. We would book the tour again and again. Our guide Edward spoke great English and had an answer to all of our questions.

Hard to get to from HCMC, but lovely once there - Edward was an amazing host. It was a small tour with just two people but he made it comfortable and fun. He was so willing to share tips, history, and fun facts that it made the early morning tour enjoyable (especially since I’m not a morning person). I will say, it was hard to navigate, especially as a solo traveler since my tour didn’t actually pick me up in Ho Chi Minh City. Apparently that’s just for people that pay the extra $100. They did pay for my bus ticket to Can Tho, where Edward met met, but I don’t know if I’d recommend a woman traveling alone to get on a public bus (though a nice one) at 2am to travel a few hours. I would have rated this 5 stars if the pick up was actually happening in HCMC.
