More beautiful and versatile insights into the Mekong - The two-day excursion was informative and beautiful: - Ken was a humorous and reliable guide and also sent us souvenir photos - Highlights were the boat trips on the Mekong, the floating market, the visit to small workshops, the bike ride or the musical performance at lunch! - A highlight was the accommodation in the paradise Bamboo Eco Hotel with beautiful grounds including pool, spacious rooms and an informative cooking class to prepare your own delicious lunch. Only at morning dinner I would have liked oatmeal or spelt, unsugared fruit juices, more fresh fruit and better coffee (in the coffee country of Vietnam). This two-day tour under the knowledgeable and humorous guidance of Ken to explore the Mekong I can unreservedly recommend.

Wonderful family experience - We can absolutely recommend this tour. We had 2 different guides and groups. On the first day it was a group of 10 people with our guide Jacky. We visited a pagoda, took a boat on the Mekong and another rowing boat on a smaller arm of the river. We also visited some islands and listened to traditional music, visited a bee farm and a small coconut candy production. Everything was super interesting but I think a little less would have been more just to enjoy the single activity. We reached our hotel in the early evening but the sun already was down. However, the hotel was amazing and a real experience to be a guest in this bamboo buildings. The dinner was very delicious as well. In the hotel we met our next guide, Clara, who planned the next day with just the 3 of us (2 adults and a 3y old). On the second day we started very early with Clara by boat to have a shaky breakfast with noodle soup on the river, which was both a delicious and unique experience. After that we boated through the Cai Rang floating market and were invited to see a local family‘s houseboat where they use to live and work to sell their goods. On our way back we stopped at a small noodle production which was super interesting. After that we took bicycles and rode next to the small canals through the countryside to see a monastery nearby. As our daughter was more interested in the hotel’s pool we couldn’t stay too long. Back in the hotel we cooked and ate some Vietnamese dishes to complete this wonderful trip. All in all this was a wonderful experience. We have seen awesome places and made memories that we will never forget. I found it a little bit strange that we had 2 guides and 2 groups but I guess there were organizational reasons. For the first day I wished we would have some more information about what we will do and what’s the schedule. Both guides were nice and smart - but especially Clara is a very lovely and understanding person. She really made this trip unforgettable above all for our daughter. Traveling with young children can be challenging but Clara really made ALL of us enjoy the time. Thank you!

Highly reccomend, Tom and Clara are the best! - We had an amazing time! Our tour guides (Tom and Clara) were excellent. They made us feel extremely welcome and were very knowledgable. The pacing of both days were good, not too much or too little happening, and the groups sizes were perfect (9 on the firdt day and 5 on the second). The accomodation was beautiful and I only wish I could have stayed there longer. Will be reccomending this tour to others that come to HCMC 😁

Lovely 2 days trips tour - The experience was great, I really recommend it. The first day we had a more touristic style of day, visiting different shops, showing us how the make different products guided by Titus, very friendly guy. The second one was a less touristic, super local and charming, guided by a local guide, Clara. She was super knowledgeable, friendly and witty, and told us lots of stories and facts about the Mekong area, traditions and recommendations.

Beautiful circuit - Thanks to Tom our guide of the 1st day who gave us a lot of information about the area, the inhabitants and their culture and thank you for his kindness. Clara was our guide for the 2nd day to visit the floating market. The market has lost its size but Clara introduced us to the local crafts that compensate for the floating market. She is full of dynamism, a lot of humor, very good knowledge of the local culture. The lodge is beautiful. Thank you Clara for her good humor
