• Porta all’Arco - Volterra is a perennial archaeological site. It was a rich and powerful Etruscan city and fortunately still preserves some traces of this era such as Porta all’Arco, a rare example of an Etruscan city gate.

• Cathedral of Volterra - This square is overlooked by the city’s most important religious buildings such as the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the former Hospital. Volterra boasts the birth of the second pope after St. Peter, St. Linus.
