- Odigitria Gonia Monastery - Visit a 13th century monastery and explore its history and Christian Orthodox traditions.

This is a private tour with a 7-seater van for a maximum of 6 guests. The earliest records of wine and olive oil in Crete date back to 5,000 BC during the Minoan civilization. Seven thousand years later, Cretans continue to produce wine, beer, and olive oil on the same land, with advancements in technology and crop optimization being the only changes! On this tour, we will visit a winery, a brewery, and an olive oil factory. These establishments maintain high production standards, blending old traditions with modern technology. At each location, we will spend about an hour touring the facilities and enjoying a tasting tour! We will have lunch at a local restaurant and visit either a 13th-century monastery or Maleme Airfield and its WWII military cemetery. Tours are not available on weekends or public holidays and are offered from April 1st to November.
