It was a key player in the trade routes of ancient Arabia. Upon arrival, stroll through the narrow Siq to reach the main entrance of the city.
At the Siq’s end, admire the Treasury (al-Khazneh), once thought to contain numerous treasures. Proceed to explore the monastery and the Altar of Sacrifice.
Wadi Rum Protected Area - In the afternoon, travel to Wadi Rum by 4WD jeep for a two-hour adventure. Wadi Rum, also known as the “Valley of the Moon,” is the iconic filming location of “Lawrence of Arabia.” Be amazed by the mountain’s unique shape as it emerges from the rose-red desert sands.
