It takes about two to two and a half hours to reach the Petra Visitor Center, where we begin our walking journey to the eighth wonder of the world. After walking 800 meters we reach the Siq (a rock channel 1,200 meters long, 3 to 12 meters wide, and 80 meters high). The Siq opens into Petra’s most magnificent façade - the Treasury or Al-Khazneh. After the treasury, the path widens into a wide avenue of facades flanked on either side by the tombs that characterize the entire site. The Avenue of Facades leads us to the 5,000-seat theatre, carved into the middle of the main tomb area: On the other side of the stage on the western side of Mount Khakhbatha, we reach our final point – the Royal Tombs. After the Fofi tour, we return to Aqaba, which takes two to two and a half hours
