Begin your journey from Q.A.I. Airport or Amman heading south towards Petra, to discover Jordan’s most famous attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Petra, known as the Rose-Red City, was the remarkable capital of the Nabataean kingdom. Its ruins remained largely unknown to the world until 1812 when Swiss explorer JL Burckhardt, disguised as an Arab scholar, entered the city. It is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Stroll through the Siq, a long, winding sandstone canyon leading to the magnificent Treasury. Explore the city, including the Street of Facades, the Roman Theater, and the Royal Tombs. After the visit, depart Petra and head towards Wadi Rum.

Wadi Rum Protected Area - Recently recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, Wadi Rum showcases unique natural beauty and cultural importance. Inhabited since prehistoric times, it gained fame from Lawrence of Arabia, who spent time there during the Arab Revolt of 1916 against the Ottomans. It is Jordan’s largest desert and one of the most stunning desert landscapes globally. From the terrain, flora, and fauna, to the sites and the culture of the local Bedouins, there is much to experience in Rum, whether on a jeep tour, camel trek, hiking, or even a hot-air balloon ride. In the afternoon, leave Petra for Wadi Rum, considered one of the most spectacular deserts in the world. Arrive at your desert camp, located in the heart of the desert, where you will enjoy a traditional dinner and an overnight stay. The following morning, explore the desert in local off-road vehicles before heading north to the Dead Sea, arriving four hours later. Relax in the serene waters at one of the tourist beaches, bask in the sunshine, and experience the region’s famous mud from 2-3 before returning to Amman.
