- Petra - The tour will commence with a gathering at the hotel lobby or a specified meeting point if the hotel is outside the area. The journey begins with a 6km walk along the main trail from the Petra Visitor Center, passing through the Siq to reach the Treasury. Following this, there will be a hike up a mountain to enjoy a panoramic view of the theater, and visits to the Royal Tombs, Colonnaded Street, and Qasr Al-Bint. This segment of the tour usually lasts about 3 hours, depending on the pace, with a minimum duration of 2.5 hours.
Please be aware that climbing to the Monastery is not part of this itinerary. However, a visit can be discussed towards the end of the tour. To visit the Monastery, one must climb 850 steps. Alternatively, returning to the Visitor Center via the main trail takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
For those who prefer not to walk back to the Visitor Center, optional golf carts are available from the tour’s endpoint to the Visitor Center for a fee of 25 JOD per person.

Tour in Petra - We had an amazing time with Bassil! He knows everything and has some special spots in Petra. The tour was wonderful and we feel like we covered the majority of the site

Freakin Amazing - Finished this Awesome with Basool/Bassil and still soaking it all in! Basool was prompt/on point and when we gave our travel plans he even gave suggestion around the city before even meeting him.
When we did meet it was like meeting a long lost older brother and he was a genuine good person who was close to the heart! His family has been in Petra for over 6 generations so the knowledge and insights passed down to him are second to none
We got history and religion lessons that I had no idea about so it was very interesting and informative. When we were walking around all the locals/bedoiuns were saying hi to him and when you see that you know your are in good hands!! Even other tourists listening in started walking close to us as he explained the history of the city - I even wanted to charge them on his behalf :p
He took us to great spots for breath taking views and best picture spots that my partner wants to put all 100 photos on insta :)
I am definitely going to be booking the next extended tour with him!

An amazing experience !! - Our trip to Petra was truly a memorable experience thanks to Basil, we have been to Petra before, but this visit was truly exceptional!
He was extremely knowledgeable, impeccable communication skills and also engaging especially with our teenage kids. In addition to covering the main attractions of Petra, he also leveled up the tour by taking us off the beaten path to see some of the hidden gems of Petra. He was one of our favorite your guides we've had from all our travel.
We definitely recommend Basil for anyone planning a memorable visit to Petra !!

Best tour guide!!! - Basil was the best tour guide!!! Do not hesitate to book with him. He’s extremely knowledgeable, super friendly, and shows you all the spots you wouldn’t see otherwise. You can easily tell he’s a local who’s been doing this for 18+ years and his English was impeccable. I have already suggested him to friends and family who are returning. Thanks for the best day! We will never forget it

Excellent guide 10 out of 10 would highly recommend that if you require a guide (or think you don't) for Petra than I wo - Basel was an amazing guide. Really nice person and was very knowledgeable regarding Petra which is exactly what we required. His English was perfect and he had a good wit about him. During the tour he took us to landmarks/points of which we had no idea was there and by ourselves we would have missed this points. He also offered advice on the local Jordanian community within Petra.

A fantastic tour of Petra! - A fantastic experience with Bassil. He collected us from the hotel early morning and drove us to the main entrance where we began the tour. He was very informative and a great friendly guide. We had a fantastic morning.
