Petra - (Petra 3 hours guided tour )
I would highly recommend we start the tour early morning to avoid crowdedness, hot weather in summer and taking an enough time to explore the city.
We start by walking on the main trail (Distance: 4km ) , the trail starts from the visitor center of Petra through The siq to The Treasury , climbing up a mountain to see the theater from the top like Birds eye view , then will see The royal tombs, The colonnaded street, and finally The Dushara Palace (Qasr Al Bint) ,
The expected time to finish this trail is usually 3 hours , but time may varies on how fast you may walk but minimum of 2.5 hours .
Climbing up to the Monastery isn’t included , but may be discussed by the end of the tour .

A day at the magnificent Petra!!!! One of the 7 wonders!!! - Bassil was my tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Petra, professional, and friendly. It felt like I knew him for a long time. I have knee issues, he helped me climb, he also took some of the best photos of me at Petra which I appreciate very much, cause these pictures make memories that will always be with me. I will definitely refer him to my friends and family. If anyone is reading this and thinking of taking a tour, Bassil us definitely your guide to chose

Basil's Petra Tour - Basil, from Wadi Musa, the town next to Petra has a wealth of knowledge and decades of experience. His English is excellent and he's very personable. Basil was able to adapt our tour based on conditions and our time restraints (we only had 4 hours). He was more of a friend than a guide, and we cannot recommend him enough!

Highly recommended!!!!! - Travelled solo as a female to Jordan Petra and have had the honor to have Mr Bassil as my guide. He came early to pick me up at my hotel :) and is an extremely friendly, humble, and knowledgeable man. He walked me through the SIQ, into the treasury, all while sharing every bit of Petra’s history. He was also so kind to constantly offer to take pictures for me and i truly appreciated it. Mr Bassil also shared a lot with me (with regard to places of interest that i should visit, things i should plan and include in my itinerary for the next one week in Jordan as it was my first time in Jordan and i was travelling by myself).
I truly enjoyed my experience at this beautiful wonder of the world. thank you soo much Mr Bassil :)

See Petra NOW with Bassil-Amazing! - My husband and I hired Bassil for 2 days when visiting Petra. In our initial communications before arrival, he was helpful and informative in determining how we should structure our two days and also gave us suggestions for hotels to stay in. He met us promptly on day 1. We then set off for touring. He was knowledgeable about the history of Petra and provided great insight. He knew the best ways to see this amazing location, and being a local, he knows everyone, making it fun and helpful in touring with him. He’s got a great way with people and was a pleasure to spend time with. Also, Petra was nearly empty, and Bassil grabbed photos of us looking as if we were alone in this location. Day 2 we did the Little Petra to Petra back door route l, adding special information and route to allow us to hike as the only people on the trail. I highly recommend Bassil, you’d be lucky to have him as your guide. And, get here soon to see it without the crowds!

Bassil is such a great... - Bassil is such a great guide, he knows a lot and is also very interested in your life at home. Very flexible and easy going. Glad we booked the tour with him and we can recommend him to everyone who wants more back ground info of Petra.

Safe - We couldn’t have asked for a better driver,Mr. Mint! He was extremely professional, ensuring we felt safe and comfortable throughout our journey. The car was immaculate, and he handled the mountain roads like a pro. His suggestions for scenic stops were spot-on, and we appreciated how relaxed the entire trip felt. Visit to Petra - Bassil was a great Guide. We talk a lot about the culture and history of Jordan, making the experience much more memorable and unique. This experience was one of the most important activities on our trip to Jordan. Highly recommended to go!

Best tour ever! - Hands-down, one of the best tours we’ve ever been on. Bassil was extremely knowledgeable, spoke perfect English, and was a fabulous photographer and shared about himself, his life, and his love for his country and city. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
