Highlights
  • Lawrence’s Spring - Upon arrival, you’ll find a natural spring that serves as a fresh water source for both animals and Bedouins. This spot is popular among camels. You can follow the pipe up the mountain to reach a few fig trees, offering a great view of the spring and the surrounding desert. Note that this climb is challenging; while ascending may seem easier, descending is more difficult. You’ll need to use both hands and feet to hike and climb the rocks. Consult your guide for the best routes up and down.
  • Wadi Rum Protected Area - Drive through the area where “Lawrence of Arabia” was filmed on the way to the Sand Dune with a 360-degree view. You can hike up the sand dune to the rocky outcrop, followed by a short, easy climb to the top, where you’ll get a panoramic view of the red desert. If you wish, you can bring a board to slide down the sand dune or rent one from a nearby tent for 5JOD. Opposite the sand dune is the filming location for “The Martian”.
  • Jebel Khazali - A short hike inside the canyon reveals old inscriptions on both sides. You can venture further inside, but the path becomes narrower and more challenging.
  • Little Bridge - A naturally formed rock bridge that you can climb onto. The climb is short but requires the use of hands and feet.
  • Lawrence’s House - Visit the house where Lawrence of Arabia lived. You can also hike and climb for a view here. The climb is relatively short with a moderate difficulty near the top.
  • Wadi Rum Protected Area - Head to a cave or shaded spot for a Bedouin-style lunch prepared by the guide. We’ll stay here to eat, drink, and relax until 4pm to avoid the hottest part of the day.
  • Mushroom Rock - Drive through the filming location of “Star Wars IX – The Rise of Skywalker” on your way to Mushroom Rock. Witness the geographical wonder of the mushroom rock. You can enjoy traditional Bedouin music while drinking tea next to the rock, when available.
  • Burdah Rock Bridge - From the entrance to Burdah Canyon, you’ll see the Burdah Rock Bridge, the largest natural bridge in Wadi Rum. If time permits, you can hike through the canyon and back, which is an easy hike.
  • Abu Khashaba Canyon - A 30-minute hike with a short, moderate climb in the middle, through the canyon. It’s one of the most stunning places in the desert. You’ll be dropped off at the canyon’s entrance, and the jeep will wait for you at the end.
  • Um Frouth Rock Arch - Drive through the filming location of “Aladdin” on your way to Um Frouth Bridge. This middle-sized natural bridge can be climbed. The climb and descent are moderate. Finally, continue to a prime location for a sunset view over the White Desert. The best view requires a moderate climb, but the view from smaller rocks is also amazing.
  • Wadi Rum Protected Area - Note: Upon arrival at Wadi Rum’s Visitor Center, pay the 5JD entrance fee (waived if you have a Jordan Pass) and inform the desk that you’ve booked with a Bedouin Guide - Raad Zalabia or Riad Zalabia. Do not trust anyone who cannot present an ID.

If we may add:

This tour showcases the best of Wadi Rum. However, an overnight stay will provide the full Bedouin experience! Spend the night in our Bedouin-style tent and enjoy a Bedouin dinner (mashawi dish, salad, Jordanian bread, tea) with traditional Jordanian live music, when available. Your Bedouin guide will gladly share stories about Wadi Rum desert and Bedouin culture. If you wish, you can take a night-time walk in the desert with your guide. The next day, wake up early to catch the sunrise, and we’ll bring you back to the Rest House in Wadi Rum village after breakfast. One night stay with breakfast and dinner included is only 20JOD per person. If needed, we can help arrange transport out of Wadi Rum (payment for taxi, bus, car rental, etc., is not included).

Wadi Fun! - A fantastic overall experience of Wadi Rum with a knowledgeable guide showing us the best spots in the area! Raad was on time, prompt, hospitable, interesting, patient and took us to numerous spots including Jebel khazali and Lawrence springs to name a few. His cooking skills were also fantastic, we ate well for lunch and drank numerous cups of tea throughout the day! Highly recommend this or any tour from this company!

A one-in-a-lifetime experience - We took part in a full day Jeep tour and I can say without exaggeration that it was one of my best days in my life. With Raad we had the chance to explore the desert on it's whole and experience the Bedouin lifestyle from a local. I can just recommend to join a tour with this group, you won't regret it for sure!

Good tour - Everything was great except for a few minor disconnects on the meeting point and full explanation of each attraction from the driver. I think he was more a driver than a Bedouin tour guide was I wanted.
