Lawrence’s “Seven Pillars of Wisdom.” Today, camels enjoy drinking from this natural spring, which cascades from the mountains into the valleys. This oasis, with its dwarf trees and lush moss, glows almost like fluorescent light. Alternatively, visitors can hike up the mountain to enjoy the stunning views and numerous Thamudic inscriptions.

• Red Sand Dune - Al Ramal - Red Sand Dune - Discover the vast Red Sand Dunes set against majestic mountains. It offers a challenging climb and even more fun when running down. One of the most famous sand dunes in Wadi Rum! The red hue is due to a high concentration of iron oxide. From the top, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the valley.

• Khazali Canyon - Khazali Canyon - Features a significant crevice in the red sandstone, adorned with a rich collection of ancient rock art. This site is renowned for some of the finest petroglyphs in Jordan. The footprints of pilgrims traveling from Mecca and traders from Egypt with their caravans are still visible today. As you explore the canyon, look for intriguing petroglyphs of people, animals, and inscriptions from the Thamudic, Nabatean, and historical periods.

• Little Arch - Little Arch - A natural bridge-like formation, this little arch overlooks Khor al Ajram and is considered a main attraction in Wadi Rum. Formed naturally over the years by various harsh weather conditions, the Little Bridge offers breathtaking views and is easy to climb.

• Lawrence - Lawrence House - A stone structure from the Nabatean period, known as the residence of T. E. Lawrence, or Lawrence of Arabia, is famous for his time spent there during World War I and the vivid descriptions in “The Seven Pillars of Wisdom.” After a short climb, reach the peak to see endless stone piles. Bedouins used stone stacks as road markers. Enjoy the expansive desert view for photos. The guide will find a shady spot for a lunch break with tea.

• Mushroom Rock - Mushroom Rock - Also known as a rock pedestal, this naturally formed rock resembles a mushroom. Years of erosion have shaped it uniquely. Mushroom Rock is perfect for photos and offers a little shade from the sun.

• Um Frouth Rock Arch - Burdah Rock Bridge - Known for its immense size, this rock in Wadi Rum is one of the largest. This expansive stone archway offers panoramic views of the desert and nearby mountains. A natural rock bridge is among the highest at Jabal Burdah’s peak. On this jeep tour, stop to admire the bridge without hiking to the top.

• Burrah Canyon - Abu Khashaba Canyon - This one-kilometer trek through a narrow desert canyon, with yellow sand formations and wild bushes, is a must-do in the Wadi Rum protected area for its beauty and simplicity. Surrounded by towering mountain walls, enjoy a pleasant stroll. Listen to birds and observe diverse plant life. The guide will meet you at the end of the 45-minute walk.

• Um Frouth Rock Arch - Um Frouth Rock Arch - One of the most photographed spots in Wadi Rum, with a 20-meter ascent taking about 20 minutes round-trip, offering a stunning valley view. While not historically significant, it provides perfect photo opportunities. Tourists may find running on the bridge challenging compared to locals.
