Great experience in the desert - This was a beautiful experience and highly recommend it. The camels are well looked after by the Bedouins and are gorgeous animals. The dessert sun on your back as you take a slow ride is a wonderful feeling

Wadi Rum to Aqaba Camel Trek - 3 days/2 nights - We put ourselves totally in the hands of Desert Eyes and had an amazing experience! Our camels were clearly well cared-for and healthy. The camel guide was Bedouin/English-speaking and extremely competent, our Bedouin chef was amazing, producing beautiful traditional food for us. The Desert Eyes owner checked each day that everything was in order. We had wonderful Bedouin evenings with fantastic food, and a lot of fun. The desert was amazing, in the daytime and also at night. This trip totally overdelivered. Our hosts really took great care and we felt humble and honoured to be their guests. In the desert there is no WC, so we were very discrete and left no litter; it was no problem. A Bedouin shower (water bottle with punctured holes in the lid) was a great solution. My husband and I both developed sore bottoms from skin-on-skin chafing (no fault of the camels/equipment). Next time we would use something to prevent this!

A unique once in a life time experience. - Who won't want to ride a camel in Jordan. Our track was organised by our tour guide and was about an hour. We were planning on doing one at Petra but we're advised we would get better value at Wadi Rum with a longer ride. We were not sorry we took up the offer as it was a lot of fun. Of course I got the naughty camel who complained etc but what a lovely creature. Beautiful sites to see and a unique experience. Thank you to all those who made us so welcome.

Strongly Recommend - We chose the full day camel trip to the desert and it was amazing, a bit painful, but worth it. Khaled is very friendly and answered all our questions. He is working with local bedouins and they were our guides through the desert. The food was good, and the services were great. We strongly recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience staying overnight - Amazing full day camel tour - although I recommend only for people used to riding animals, as your legs will hurt a lot after a full day of camel riding! The desert is beautiful, and the guides will take care of all your needs. However, be aware that guides sometimes don’t speak a lot of English. Absolutely recommend to spend the night in the Bedouin camp, enjoy a wonderful Bedouin BBQ and sit around the fire to see the sky full of stars and the Milky Way - even the bad phone camera could capture stars!

The best Wadi Rum experience - Simply great. We booked 4 hour camel ride. The communication was swift and professional and Khaled's team was very helpful trying to meet our wishes as possible to provide us with the best experience. Khaled is a great companion - picked us up at the Rest House and drove us to the camels. Our camel quide Salem - I hope the name is right - was great, modest, most helpful, showed as many interesting places, let us have as much time as we needed. We enjoyed the slow pace of camel riding with the sun changing the colour of surrounding rocks every minute and finished with the sunset as we hoped for. Then we were picked up by Khaled who prepared a tea for us while watching the sunset - trully magical moment and pleasant company. After that we drove to the camp to have tasty buffet dinner in a comfortable heated tent. Again the staff was most helpful. After that we watched the stars at the nearby dune. There is a rock just next to the camp for a morning sunset serenity. After breakfest we were driven back to our car and were offered to spent some pleasant moments with Khaled's family. Overall trully great and authentic Wadi Rum experience with the most hospitable people. Thank you.

Authentic and unique Bedouin experience - Extraordinary 3 day/2 night camel trek across Wadi Rum with my girlfriend and her parents. Everything from meeting our guide at the Wadi Rum Rest House to our return after 3 days in the desert was executed with a high degree of professionalism and safety by the Desert Eyes team. We were initially apprehensive to devote such a big chunk of our week in Jordan to this experience, as there is truly so much to do/see in this amazing country. However, the 3 days we spent in Wadi Rum were by far the highlight of a trip that took us from Amman to Aqaba and back. Travelling by camel let us take in the sounds and sights of the desert and sleeping under a star filled sky in complete isolation was something that we will never forget. Thank you for giving us memories to last a lifetime - we are looking forward to coming back and planning a much longer expedition together.

Amazing Sunset Camel Ride Experience - Amazing experience! We booked a 2 hour sunset camel ride for 4 of us. Our guide picked us up at the Wadi Rum Rest House at the Wadi Rum Village and took us to our camels via a desert truck. The camels are very well taken care of. Healthy, strong, gentle. No whips, no chains. I brought some fruits to share with the camels and they loved the apples and pears. As the camel ride ended, our guide/driver met us with his truck and found a nice elevated rock formation for us to view the sunset. He made tea for us and had some sweet snacks for us to share. He let us take our time and enjoy the quietness of the desert. Afferwards, our guide took us to the Desert Eyes camp for a traditional Bedouin dinner in a large tent. We got to chat with our Bedouin hosts and folks from all over who were staying overnight at the camp. After dinner and chatting, our guide/drive took us back to our car for our drive back to Aqaba. 10 out of 10 recommend Desert Eyes.
