Highlights
  • Wadi Rum Village - Wadi Rum Village - We will meet at the Rest House in Wadi Rum Village. This is the first place you will see on your right, when you enter the village. When all tourists are present and welcomed by the guide, we start the jeep tour around 10:10

  • Lawrence’s Spring - experience Lawrence Spring, a natural water source in the heart of Wadi Rum that is a favorite hangout spot for camels. The cool water runs down the mountains and into the troughs, surrounded by small trees and vibrant green moss that create a true oasis and views and the many inscriptions of Thamudic origin. You can relax here just like the Bedouins and their herds did in the past, while watching herds of camels pass by, eagerly seeking fresh water.

  • Red Sand Dune - Al Ramal - Discover the iconic Al Ramal Red Sand Dune in Wadi Rum, the most famous sand dune in the area with a unique red hue caused by high concentrations of iron oxide. While it may seem like a simple climb, the soft sand makes it challenging for tourists, but entertaining for the locals to watch. Once you reach the top, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the valley that will leave you in awe. For an unforgettable experience, run or sandboard your way back down.

  • Jebel Khazali - Discover the hidden gem of Khazali Canyon in Wadi Rum, where you can journey back in time to witness the traces of merchants and pilgrims who once traveled through the canyon on their way to Egypt, Damascus, and Mecca.

As you explore the canyon between split mountains, you’ll be fascinated by the Thamudic, Nabatean, and Islamic inscriptions, as well as the petroglyphs of humans, animals, and soles of feet. The canyon is also home to numerous Nabataean rock carvings of people and animals, including petroglyphs etched into the cave walls dating back to Thamudic times.

At the end of the canyon, you’ll find several man-made rock-cut basins for water collection, adding to the impressive collection of petroglyphs and inscriptions that make Khazali Canyon one of the major tourist attractions in Wadi Rum.

  • Little Bridge - Little Rock Bridge : Experience the natural wonder of Little Bridge in the Khor El Ajram area, where years of severe weather have created a stunning rock formation. Despite its name, the bridge is not too high and easy to climb, making it accessible to families with children or those who prefer less challenging climbs. Take in the breathtaking views of the vast desert landscape and capture memorable photos before descending to relax in a Bedouin tent with a cup of sweet tea. Here, you can buy souvenirs or hang out with locals, making for an unforgettable cultural experience. So come and explore the easily accessible Little Bridge, perfect for all ages and comfort levels.

  • Um Frouth Rock Arch - Um Frouth Rock Arch : a natural bridge offering breathtaking views and photo opportunities. With the help of your guide, take an impressive photo on top of the bridge using your phone or camera. Although challenging for tourists, small footholds have been created to make the ascent easier. Experience the thrill of climbing this magnificent structure and capture unforgettable photos of the stunning scenery. A must-visit for anyone exploring Wadi Rum and looking for a memorable adventure.

  • Abu Khashaba Canyon - Morning tour: Canyon walk
    Sunset tour: Sunset viewpoint

Canyon Walk in Abu Khashaba Canyon:
Stretch your legs and enjoy a nice walk in this deep narrow valley, surrounded by tall mountain walls. There’s a lot of green, which makes a beautiful contrast with the red desert sand. You will see many different types of trees and plants, and hear countless birds chirping. The locals have hung bottles to collect the rainwater so that the birds can drink from it. It is a real oasis of peace. The walk takes 30 to 45 minutes, and your guide will pick you up on the other side.

Sanset Viewpoint:
Wadi Rum is known for having the most breathtaking sunsets. And we know the best places to watch it! We will take you to a secluded area where you can overlook the wide panoramic landscape as the sun sets, while we prepare some sweet Bedouin tea on the fire. Just sit on the mattrass or in the sand and take in all the beauty you see around you.

Amazing experience in Wadi Rum - Memorable experience, exactly as described. The ride in the desert was amazing, luckily we had the perfect weather in March. The driver got us to most important landmarks in the reservation, explained us how we could enjoy climbing where it could be done. I recommend proper footwear for climbing, sun protection, sunglasses and enough water. Highly recommend experience!

Amazing trip in the Wadi Rum - We meet with our guide, Odeh from Zalabia tribe, at the Wadi Rum Rest. From there on, our pickup trip to the desert began. He welcomed us, and explained all the details of the activity. Beside the information of all attractions we visited we had the opportunity to ask questions and learn a lot of interesting facts about life in the desert, the antique history of the Wadi Rum, camel herding and social structure of the tribe. We were invited to drink tea near the dunes, which was amazing. Fully recommend him and his colleagues, it was a wonderful and exceptional authentic experience. Other than the pickup travel, there are stops where you can climb the dunes, and explore the nearby water springs, ancient writings on the rocks, and incredible orange dunes. His business has many different offers for activities in Wadi Rum, such as climbing, trekking or longer trails which include camping. It was a really special experience, and we are sure that we will recommend Odeh and his company to anyone we know travelling to Wadi Rum!

Best Time in Wadi Rum - Tour was exceptional. Our guide take us to every place and explains everything to us. Guide was so friendly. I forgot my glasses in camp where we drink tea so he took me all the way back to get my glasses. Then after sunset he took me back to my hotel. It was a great experience.

A great experience in the desert - I did a solo tour and had my own driver, who was very hands off but in a good way - he would drive me to each place, do a brief introduction, and give me plenty of time to walk around and explore each area. The scenery was gorgeous, and travelling round on the back of a jeep was great fun! It definitely ended up lasting longer than advertised, which was good as I was enjoying myself. Only thing I’d say is that there were a lot of other tourists around, which is understandable, but if you’re trying to go off the beaten track then this tour isn’t really long enough to provide this.

Out of this world experience at Wadi Rum - We spent two nights at Moon light camp in Wadi Rum, (mid august so quite hot!) the owner and staff were very friendly, I hired the 4 hour tour with them, so the next morning our guide Atallah picked us up at 9am and the adventure began. first we stopped at a convenience store for some refreshments and then the drive through the desert began. Wadi Rum is truly impressive and the ride was as smooth as it can be when you are on a 4x4. We stopped in 5 different locations, most of them . We were lucky to have a private tour early morning, we had a nice Bedouin tents offering small local handcrafts and free tea, Jordanians are very nice!... Attalah was constantly ensuring that we were confortable 100% of the time. I recommend this tour to everyone.
