- Lawrence’s Spring - Upon arrival, visitors can witness a natural spring that serves as a fresh water source for both animals and Bedouins. This spot is particularly popular with camels. Visitors can follow the pipe up the mountain to reach a few fig trees, offering a stunning view of the spring and the surrounding desert. Please note that this climb is challenging. Although ascending may seem easier, descending is considerably more difficult. Hikers will need to use both hands and feet to navigate the rocks. It is advisable to consult a guide for the best route up and down.
- Wadi Rum Protected Area - Travel through the area where “Lawrence of Arabia” was filmed en route to the Sand Dune with a 360-degree view.
Visitors can hike up the sand dune to a rocky outcrop, followed by a short, easy climb to the top. From there, a panoramic view of the red desert awaits.
For those interested, sandboarding is an option. Visitors can bring their own board or rent one from a nearby tent for 5 JOD.
Opposite the sand dune is the filming location for “The Martian.”
- Um Frouth Rock Arch - Travel through the area where “Aladdin” was filmed on the way to Um Frouth Bridge.
This is a medium-sized natural bridge that can be climbed. The climb and descent are moderate.
Continue onwards to a prime location for a sunset view over the White Desert.
The best view requires a moderate climb, but the view from the smaller rocks is also spectacular.
- Burrah Canyon - A 30-minute hike with a short, moderate climb in the middle, through the canyon. This is one of the most breathtaking spots in the desert. Visitors will be dropped off at the canyon’s entrance, and the jeep will be waiting at the end.
- Lawrence’s House - Visit the house where Lawrence of Arabia resided. Visitors can also hike and climb for a view here. The hike is relatively short with a moderate climb near the top.
- Mushroom Rock - Travel through the area where “Star Wars IX – The Rise of Skywalker” was filmed en route to Mushroom Rock.
Witness the geographical marvel that is the mushroom rock.
If desired, visitors can enjoy traditional Bedouin music while sipping tea next to the rock, when available.

Burdah Rock Bridge - From the entrance to Burdah Canyon, visitors can view the Burdah Rock Bridge, the largest natural bridge in Wadi Rum.
If time permits, a hike through the canyon and back is possible. (Easy hike)
