This location is highly renowned for hosting some of the finest petroglyphs in Jordan. • Lawrence - Lawrence House - A stone structure from the Nabatean period that serves as the residence of T. E. Lawrence, more commonly referred to as Lawrence of Arabia, is renowned for two reasons: the period of time he spent there throughout World War I, and the evocative descriptions found in his renowned work, The Seven Pillars of Wisdom. After a short ascent to the top, you will reach the peak, where you will be astounded by the seemingly endless piles of stones. The Bedouins had a practice of using stone stacks as road markers in their day. Another perk is the expansive view of the desert plain that you can capture in your photographs. Our guide will locate a pleasant shady location for the lunch break, where we will eat and sip tea.

  • Mushroom Rock - Mushroom Rock - Also known as a rock pedestal or pedestal rock, is a naturally formed rock that bears a resemblance to a mushroom in shape.
