- Shiroyone Senmaida - Shiroyone Senmaida invites travelers to explore a unique spot featuring numerous steps filled with rice paddies in an arc on Koushuzan Mountain. - Okunoto Salt Farm Village - The Okunoto Salt Farm Village in Suzu is the only place in Japan that uses the traditional “Agehama” method for salt production. As the name suggests, a salt field is created by spreading earth on top of bedrock, then adding sand after the earth has solidified. This method, used for over a thousand years, produces natural salt rich in minerals.
- Myojo-ji Temple - Myojo-ji is the head temple of the Nichiren school of Buddhism in the Hokuriku region, which includes Ishikawa and the surrounding prefectures. The temple is set on sprawling, verdant grounds with a five-storied pagoda completed in 1618 as its centerpiece. Myojo-ji was founded in 1294 by Nichizo (1269–1342), a disciple of Nichiren (1222–1282), the founder of the Nichiren school. Nichiren Buddhism emphasizes the Buddha-nature of the individual, meaning all people have the potential to attain enlightenment in this lifetime.
- Chirihama Nagisa Driveway - The Chirihama Nagisa Driveway is a sandy beach on the western edge of the Noto Peninsula that is open to cars. Traffic flows in both directions along the 8-kilometer stretch beside the Sea of Japan. The sand is packed enough to support automobiles, motorcycles, and bicycles.
