Well worth the money - Whitney plantation is a do not miss stop on a trip to new orleans! Lunch at oak alley was delicious. The airboat tour was fun and it was a treat to feed the alligators. Our driver made us feel safe and he was prompt. Well worth the money!

Whitney plantation a must visit - A very beautiful and meaningful plantation, that’s sole purpose is representing the slaves who served there.

The Whiney plantation was... - The Whiney plantation was great, I would opt for a guided tour instead of a self-guided tour. Our driver was great! He was entertaining! Thanks, Brian! The swamp tour on Big Daddy, was amazing!

Brian is the best guide I’ve ever had - Absolute amazing experience. Brian is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and does not rush passengers. You get a full two hours at the plantation and stop for refreshments on the way to the airboat tour. I could not recommend Brian and his company more highly for this vital historical/humanity experience of Louisiana.

Bday in new orleans - Chrissy ! Our trip guide who drove us from destination to destination. She was never without a joke or story to share and I appreciate her for that. She made the trip. Comfortable and fun! Whitney plantation is DEEP yall. Not sure what I expected but it far exceeded anything I could've conceived. Eye opening is understatement. It deeply affected me forever. The swamp tour was also another tour I really enjoyed. I saw alot and learned alot and it was actually some good country fun! I highly suggest to all.

Highly recommend! - This experience was profound. It’s hard to believe such a place of beauty had so many atrocities in the past. This tour gives more insight as to what the slaves experience was and what they had to endure. The Airboat was a nice fun activity to do after such a heart wrenching tour. Both amazing!

Must See!! - I highly recommend this tour by Crescent! While on our ride to the location, the driver and airboat captain made us laugh and provided city history/ stories that enhanced the experience. The provided audio devices at Whitney Plantation for self guided tour were perfect.

Rescheduled to the Laura Plantations - just okay - The Whitney Plantations were closed, so I was redirected to the Laura Plantations. The tour guide getting there was great. The plantations tour guide was knowledgable, but the focus was on the family history rather than the slaves and brutality that took place there. I sort of left with a positive feeling rather than thinking about one of the darkest times in American history. I've heard the Whitney Plantations are better at telling the full story. I'd try to reschedule if you happen to book on one of the days they're closed. The swamp tour was okay. I went on one the day before that was a lot more informative. We still saw tons of alligators and it is a must if you have never been, but there are better companies and guides than the one coupled with this tour.
