A very worthwhile trip to the seals at Pelican Point. - Great trip to Pelican Point. Even the way there was very interesting. Past the salt factory, thousands of flamingos and jackals could be seen up close. Kayaking was great and the seals swam right next to us. Our guide SJ could tell a lot about land and people and especially nature and animals. A very friendly and pleasant person. A very rewarding experience. Merci.

A fantastic morning to remember! Great staff, well organised! Adorable wildlife experience! - We had a fantastic day out with SJ as our guide. He provided lots of local knowledge, answered many of our (boring tourist) questions and had an easy and fun manner. The kayaking was well organised, the seals did their bit too, frolicking and splashing.. and afterwards we had sandwiches, muffins and coffee. We even got treated to getting stuck in the sand. SJ and his colleagues soon had us out and we returned quickly and safely. Staff at the meeting point were also super friendly and welcoming. All round a great Namibian adventure. Many thanks. (Looking forward to the complimentary photos they will be emailing us!).

The Number One Activity in Namibia - Kayaking with seals is surely the number one activity to do in Namibia. It offers a unique opportunity to get up close with wildlife and above all else it is just pure fun spending time with the seal pups. Pelican point are a great outfit: professional, informative and friendly. We felt well looked after the whole time and will remember the experience forever. The shop is also a great place to get quality souvenirs.

Relaxed but memorable - Our favorite part was when the seal jumped on our kayak! Very easy kayak trip, even for beginners. Plus lots of great birding.

Chill - The drive to pelican point was already interesting. Our tour guide S.J. told us a lot of additional information about the environment, animals, jeep and answered all of our questions in a nice way! The kayakking itself was wonderful. The sealions are really curious and wanted to play a lot! Thanks S.J. for the nice experience!

Great experience - Great experience! On the way to the seals we saw a lot of flamingos and a jackal. The guide (S.J.) gave us some interesting info, and the guides were very helpful once we entered the kayaks. Being in the middle of the seals was so relaxing. And we saw a whale in the distance.

To do with family - Activity for which we were somewhat shared about the experience. The team is top, Ace, prowling the drill. We were dispatched in 2 vehicles which was not very practical because we had taken the Sandwich Harbour combo and each Guide makes his route to and from the bay, but otherwise organization is square. We were 4 vehicles in total, about 30 people. SJ is very friendly and stops us on the views of the local wildlife (pink flamingos, cormorants, etc.) until Pelican Point where the vehicles stop after about 1 hour of driving to launch the kayaks. We put on life jackets and outfits, listen to some instructions and hop in the water. Well, it's a bit of a cold shower because after crisscrossing Namibia and its beautiful landscapes, we find ourselves in a hyper industrial bay, between tankers and container doors and against the backdrop of a shipyard, bof bof it's not what we imagined. After about 20 minutes paddling to warm up a little towards the open sea, go back towards the sea lion colony. It's kind of funny, the kids come to us very easily, it's a lot of fun; it's really an activity to do as a family. 30 minutes later it's over, we dock, undress and have some good time with a coffee to warm up and a bagel quite decent. Finally, back in 4x4, 1h across the lagoon and there we think that still it is expensive the family outing for less than an hour kayaking in a setting like this.
