- Walvis Bay Waterfront - Walvis Bay, Namibia’s primary seaport, is situated between the mouths of the Swakop and Kuiseb rivers along the Atlantic Ocean. To the south of Walvis Bay lies a vast lagoon that attracts tens of thousands of birds, including numerous flamingos. The lagoon, salt pans, and bird sanctuary that make up the Walvis Bay Wetlands are among the most significant coastal wetlands in southern Africa. Over 150,000 migratory birds spend the summer months in Walvis Bay, with non-breeding Palearctic and intra-African species being predominant. More than 150 bird species have been recorded in this area, including the Greater Flamingo, Lesser Flamingo, Great White Pelican, Chestnut-banded Plover, African Oystercatcher, Cape Teal, and Black-necked Grebe. Additionally, European and northern Siberian migrants, traveling between 10,000 and 14,000 kilometers, visit Walvis Bay annually. These long-distance travelers include the Curlew Sandpiper, Sanderling, Grey Plover, and Ruddy Turnstone.

Dune exploring - CJ was the best! Make sure you are in his car. Great fun in the dunes and he added in extra stops to add to the experience. If you are in Walvis Bay, I would recommend for a morning or afternoon activity.

Amazing experience with flamingos and dunes. - Was an amazing experience. Saw beautiful flamingos, and fantastic dunes together with a very tasty lunch in the end! I was picked up from Swakopmund, and delivered there. That tour definitely worth the payment. Big thanks and respect to organisers.

Do it! - What a fantastic trip: dunes on one side, the wild Atlantic on the other. We had a great driver (Coppi), who was funny and had a lot to tell about the lanscape. Snacks and drinks are included. My wife even got a birthday cake!!!

Highly recommended - Amazing location. CJ was a great guide. Sandwhich Harbour is stunning. The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and the light lunch was great. Very responsive as well.

Awesome Trip _ Highly Recommend - The tour was fantastic. Spectacular views and experience. CJ was just incredible from the time he picked us up, throughout the tour and when he dropped us off. He gave us a lot of info. on the sites. He went above and beyond what we expected, even assisted us when he dropped us off at our accommodation by sorting out our geyser issue. Thanks CJ, you definitely made our stay in Walvis Bay a memorable one.

Lots of sand and comfortable jeeps - Nice drive to and through the sand dunes. Along the salt factory, flamingos and coast in the sand over and between the dunes. Also seen springboks along the way. Powerful Toyota jeeps that can handle the slopes without any problems. Several stops for photos and explanations. A snack and a drink is also included.
