Sensations guaranteed - Sandwich harbor activity, 4×4 rodeo on Harbor sandwich dunes. Activity we added not foreseen in the original program and which cost us 500 € for 4. Our driver's name is Christian and he's an Afrikaner. We are a convoy of 7 vehicles with plenty of tourists. We make a first stop to see the flamingos. Then the salt marsh basins and that pink water. We then drive on the sand, first on the beach, then on small dunes, then medium and finally large ones. It's like doing the Paris Dakar! Very impressive when the drivers take straight on steep descents! Arriving at the Sandwich Harbor site which is a very high dune falling to the sea, we stop for a photo shoot. On the way back, we stop in a toilet and the drivers set up tables for a picnic in the dunes. Unmissable activity not to be missed. We left at 1pm for a return at 6pm

Top- notch experience with Sandwich dune tours & Safari - The entire adventure with Sandwich Dune Tours & Safari was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we were picked up to the professionalism of our guide, everything was spectacular. Daniel (our guide) was incredibly knowledgeable about the unique landscape & wildlife. He also made the tour perfectly paced, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the breathtaking scenery of Sandwich Harbour. The sight of the dunes meeting the Atlantic Ocean was a highlight, and the ample time our guide gave us to take photos made it even more memorable

Amazing dunes, driver, lunch - Absolutely amazing experience. The dunes' beauty are indescribable. What made the experience even better was it driver Andries, who was an amazing guide. And the lunch spread was the best I've ever had on any tour or similar excursions. 110% recommend

A thrill ride in Walvis Bay - We booked this half-day trip independently off the cruise ship. Dennis, our guide, met us at the port and took us on a wonderful drive through the Sandwich Bay Dunes outside of Walvis Bay. Along the way we saw jackals, seals, flamingos and tried earnestly to find oryx. The ride up and down the dunes brought out the child in each of us. The "snack" on top of the dunes was pure gourmet treat. Dennis was SUPER! He told us about the area, drove skillfully, and made out Walvis Bay outing a true memory maker. Because of this experience we would jump at the chance to come back to Namibia.

Dunes and Wildlife by the Ocean - This was an exhilarating experience nearly unequal to any others. The ability to see the Namib desert connecting with the ocean would have been enough. But, driving through the dune system up and down and side to side, or climbing a dune of that size, that was unexpected. Our super expert driver Ivan made the whole thing even more spectacular. And the icing on the cake was a picnic in the desert and encountering jackals, ostrich, and seeing flamingos and seals in the wild. Beyond awesome. The tour company deserves lots of praise for organizing things so well and for waiting (for me) longer than anticipated.

Namib Dunes and Ocean All in One - This was an exhilarating experience in more ways than one. Ivan, our guide and driver, was spectacular behind the wheel and handling the dunes, up and down, side to side, with ease. Coming to Namibia and landing in Walvis Bay for a day this is the thing to do. The company waited for me till I got off the ship...1.5 hours late! The whole thing was phenomenal. Everything was perfectly organized. And the picnic on the desert was unexpected and fabulous!

The best experience ever. - Cool experience with Andries who was our guide and driver, he has great driving skills & we had fun cruising through the dunes. He has extensive knowledge on the salt production & a very funny guy. The scenery at sandwich Harbour is amazing, definitely going back for the adrenaline rush. Will recommend this tour to everyone👌👌

Nice experience but they do not live up to what they promise. - The tour was a nice experience. The guide and driver was a nice guy. He did his outermost best to make it a nice experience. Driving to the best viewpoints, gives us enough time to make pictures and looking for wildlife along the way. So why then only an average rating? They promise on their website and by the confirmation of the tours that fresh oysters and champagne is included within the trip. However, they were not offered. After the trip, we went to the office and they told us that there are none. Even when we told them that we saw that others tours offered it to their guests, they told us it is because they had a stock while theirselves were out of stock. That can happen, but then you have to communicate this and also give a refund or reduction on the tour price. The women at the office called the owner to ask if she could do this, but it was refused by the owner. So, after all it was a nice experience but live up to what you promise.

The company is super disorganised but a great experience - They convinced us to do the afternoon over the morning session which we accepted. We came 15 minutes earlier but they were not organised. We didn’t leave for almost 40 minutes after the scheduled 1 pm departure. Absolute chaos. Our driver was OK, kinda racist when he mentioned Namibian politics. Sandwich harbour was stunning and I recommend it BUT not with this company.
