Erawan falls and River Kwai. - A fantastic day out. This is a full days journey about 3 1/2 hours travel time each way . First the visit to the war museum at the River Kwai and to walk over the metal bridge. We could of done with more time there.
Next stop the Erawan National Park.
There are seven stages to the falls but well worth visiting all 7 . I would recommend walking all the way up to the top quite steep with lots of steps. And stopping at each stage on the way down for a swim. Life jackets are mandatory and cost 20 Baht each.

Wonderful waterfalls - What a fantastic day, very comfortable minibus 🚐 to JETHA museum, the bridge over River Kwai and then the amazing Erawan waterfalls. Although we hiked up to level 7, which was amazing to see, level 2 for swimming 🏊 was the best 👌

Erawan falls is nice. River Kwai is so so - 5 stars rating is for the Erawan falls. Ri er Kwai is 3 stars. Service from the provider is 3 stars. Very nice waterfalls. Well worth a visit. It is about 3 hours' drive from Bangkok without traffic. River Kwai is one hour away and not much to see. The museum is just a bunch of news clippings. Not impressed. You can walk on the bridge but nothing really special. Going to level 7 of Erawan waterfall will take about one hour for a person with average fitness. One way is about 2km. There are steep steps after level 3. After level 5, the path is not paved. We spent one hour up to level 7 and 45 mins down leisurely. Erawan falls is well worth a visit if you want to take a break from busy Bangkok.

Good fun, not exhausting - Mr. Eddy and the driver (who's name I unfortunately never asked) were really great and it was a good trip!
It's hard to get there without a tour so I'd really recommend it.
Just a quick fyi, there's these fish in the water that are used for pedicure. They are totally harmless but it might be good to know beforehand
The walks up the levels aren't too bad and you can swim in most levels. I'd recommend 3 or 4 but definitely go and see the other levels, it's beautiful

Cool swimming and hiking - The tour guide really tried his best. He tried to give all the information he knew though sometimes it's too much. I loved working up to the level 7 of the Erawan Waterfall. Swimming in the water there was amazing too!

Excursion Erawan Waterfalls, Kwai River and JEATH Museum - Amazing waterfalls to do if you are in the area of Bangkok.
The Guide is super nice. The only problem was the microphone in the van. Indeed, the Guide explained and gave information on the way but we did not understand much. In all honesty, I was interested only in waterfalls so if this is also your case you can go by yourself without the need for a Guide because once there you do what you want, the Guide does not follow you in the park.
See if you want to see the Bridge of the Kwai River and the JEATH Museum. It was not extraordinary.
