As I arrived at Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures, nestled in the lush landscape of Wangetti, I was immediately struck by the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Their genuine kindness set the tone for what would be an unforgettable day. The staff at the entry gate were not only welcoming but also incredibly informative, ensuring I had all the details needed to make the most of my visit.

The highlight of the morning was undoubtedly the chance to meet Rosy, a 17-month-old koala. As Shonny, one of the wildlife keepers, introduced us to Rosy, I was filled with excitement. Rosy was as adorable as I had imagined, and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to learn more about these fascinating creatures. Shonny’s passion for wildlife was evident as she shared insightful information about koalas, making the experience both educational and enjoyable.

After breakfast, I explored the park further, stopping by the reptile talk and the bird sanctuary. The bird sanctuary was a lively place, with a hen chasing the hissing birds, much to my amusement. It was a reminder of the unpredictable and often humorous interactions that occur in the animal kingdom.

The reptile show was another highlight, featuring a king brown snake and several baby snakes. The knowledgeable staff made the experience engaging, and I left with a newfound appreciation for these often-misunderstood creatures.

A Thrilling Crocodile Encounter

The adventure continued with a crocodile sightseeing cruise on Hartley’s Lagoon. As we set off, I was both excited and a little apprehensive, knowing that 32 crocodiles called the lagoon home.
