Outstanding tour of Northern Taiwan - Excellent well-paced itinerary. Knowledgable, careful and helpful driver. Comfortable car. We shared the tour with a couple from Singapore, who fortunately spoke Chinese and English, which helped a lot, since our driver spoke very little English. Well worth the cost.

Great full day out! - Martin more than delivered. We met at 830 and we were out until after 7 when he returned us to our hotel. Small group. Just 4 of us so very personalized. He didn’t rush us , and took us to a number of out of the way spots to eat . The places are beautiful ( go on a clear day) .. full value.

Magical Day, Thoughtfully Curated - We had a lovely day with Martin — who was truly one of the most thoughtful guides, ever. From stopping to grab us dumplings on the way to the Geopark, to providing walking sticks to help us around the Falls’ more slippery areas, even to procuring a special lunch for the vegetarian in our group, or making sure we tried Taipei specialties throughout the day. Martin is also extremely knowledgeable about Taipei’s history and geography. We highly recommend.

Best tour - We did so much in a few hours. Jim was a terrific guide, sharing so much insight … and a wonderful person.

Northern Taiwan - I would like to thank John for a great experience! The locations on the excursion were fantastic! It was a great one day itinerary for seeing the high points of Northern Taiwan. John was very polite and accommodating in and out of all locations.

Exploration made easy - I had the greatest time! Our guide was fabulous, helpful, and made the drive fun. There was excellent communication about the tour/guide/pickup vehicle (and how potential issues regarding a typhoon were going to be handled). Easy pickup location (outside of Westgate) and clear pickup instructions. The geopark has such interesting geology! It’s worth the trip just to see that!

Perfect one day trip - The whole trip was super nice and very well organised, we managed to see different places, my favorite part was throwing lanterns in the sky, such a magical experience

Excellent day trip - We had to upgrade to private due to lack of participation, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Our driver Jimmy Fang was phenomenal with showing us around, made our time feel special at every location and helped take great photos of us.

Great experience with minor mishap - We had a great tour with Alex our tour guide ! This was a full day tour leaving at 8:30am and arriving home at 6:30pm. Two things to note: - we had initially been told we were the only ones who booked but another couple booked late at night so were added to our tour. We didn’t know this until the morning. Not an issue but they picked us up in a small Toyota Camry and I had to sit in between my partner and someone else in the middle for the entire day. It was not the most comfortable mode of transportation especially given we were in the car for hour long stretches between some sites due to traffic. Not the fault of our tour guide but this could have been better scheduled with a bigger van or at least an XL car for the five of us (tour guide included). We were refunded $20 USD for this. - at first our tour guide only dropped us off at the Geologic park so we were afraid that one of the reviews here were true (I.e. we paid $180 total for us both but it wasn’t a tour and more a driver dropping us off between sites). However after the first stop, our tour guide did park the car and come along at the other stops telling us interesting information about each stop. We really liked our four guide Alex - he was very nice and knowledgeable!! All in- I would book this tour again but make sure that you’re okay either being in a small and someone having to sit in the middle OR they should just do a better job of having more tour guides available with bigger cars in case of a last minute booking. We did appreciate the $20 refund, given $180 USD was pretty steep compared to the Chinese speaking tour ($100 more), and it wasn’t that comfortable (we are tall and pretty big people). Other than that, we enjoyed this tour very much and the stops along the way!

Fizzer … - It may have been good if the tour operator had shown up at the designated time (08.00 - 09.00) and place - outside the Westgate Hotel, Zhonghua Road. I stood in the rain for two hours from 07.30. Yes, it spoiled my day and how do I get my money back?
