Mouthwatering Street Food & Amazing Atmosphere - We had an amazing time on this food and night market tour in Taipei! Our guide Roro was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to some of the best local spots that we would have never found on our own. From delicious xiaolongbao to crispy scallion pancakes and the famous stinky tofu, every bite was an adventure.

The best way to Enjoy Taipei and meet other Travelers! - The food tour was excellent!! Leo was such a great guide and made the tour really fun. The group was very international and really a great mix, this being my first food tour I've ever been solo, Leo made it very interactive with the other travelers. Having eaten a good amount of taiwanese dishes already, there were some I hadn't tried yet and everything was delicious.

Interesting and great experience tasting Taiwan’s foods in the night market - We really enjoyed this food tour, our guide (Taile) was very informative and knowledgeable about Taiwanese foods and she surely knows the place that serve best foods. We tried so many foods in and around Huaxi Night Market, and all of them were delicious:
- Liang Xi Hao (fish, squid soup)
- Bahwan (like a dumpling ?)
- Fried dumplings
- Stinky Tofu
- Xiao Long Bao
- Taiwan ‘Marlene fish’ Tempura
- Herbal Tea
- Fried Sweet Potato
- Oyster Omelette
- Fruit with syrup coating
- Mochi
On top of those many foods we also visited one of the convenience store since there are so many of them in Taipei, so good to know more about them.
I would recommend this tour to everyone who loves eating while visiting Taipei, do it in the beginning of your trip so can be a good reference on the following days.

Excellent taste of Taipei - We had a great time exploring the local street food on offer in Taipei. I enjoyed trying the high quality traditional dishes and was pleased that only one of the dishes was a bit ‘wild’ so I was very full by the end!
One person in our party had mobility issues and Roro did an excellent job of keeping the pace appropriate for her to keep up.
Roro was also super friendly with impeccable English so it was really easy to ask plenty questions and understand the answers.
For those of you wondering: there is a toilet stop about half way round.

Good intro to the night market food scene - It was fun and adventurous! It was enough food for me, but I am a fairly petite woman. Men and those with larger appetites might need more. If you're not used to spicy, don't get the spicy options. :) The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a good introduction to how the markets work and basic foods!

Great Tour for a Foodie! - Bessy was knowledgeable and interesting. She gave background and the history of the food. Great group size. She used a microphone which was very helpful. We sampled a good variety of local food.

Many foods to try which... - Many foods to try which was fun. Our tour guide Roro was great. I found the price a bit high compared to other food tours I’ve done but it’s a good way to experience the culture of different countries.

unfortunately quite disappointing - Maybe I had too high expectations from the many other food tours I have been on. It was an not so pleasant mix of rushing from one place to another and then a long, silent wait until everyone had their food/we were seated. But also our guide didn't show much knowledge. For example, when a person with allergy asked what was in the sauce, she said it was homemade. There was no further information about that. Even basic other questions about the food (what's in it, how it's made) were only answered rudimentarily (-it is fish, when someone asked what fish we are eaing). I'm also used to being told something about the culture, traditions or the city on tours like this. Nothing like that unfortunately. The food was pretty OK, but I could have bought it myself for a fraction of the price of this tour. I think the tour is for people who are afraid to go out alone and are happy when someone speaks for them and shows them the way, but don't expect to get any more in-depth information.

A little disappointed - I was anxious to go .. it we were staying 20 minutes away by taxi and it was raining.i messaged the tour company 2 times asking if it still went since it was raining ..we didn’t want to take a taxi there and back if it was cancelled. All I received was an automated response reference the starting point
