A perfect winter experience - My hoomans had a wonderful evening soak in the hot spring pools. For a small extra cost they hired robes and a locker to store their valuables in, but took their own towels. (Towels can also be hired) The evening session is adults only which was perfect for them….. I didn’t go because I’m not waterproof 😉 There are several pools of varying depths and temperatures with a sign on each so you can decide before entering. They have built a nice natural rock look setting with little secluded caves including romantic lighting and waterfalls for people who want to hide away to soak. There is also a 10° plunge pool for the brave! My hoomans enjoyed meeting fellow guests and brief chats when sharing a pool. Afterwards, there are huge clean showers and change room cubicles to prepare again for the outside world. This was a great experience and we would do it again!…. (well they would)😉 Eager B and the Ohlssons

Oasis close to home, excellent relaxation experience - Excellent hot springs with a lot of different areas to explore and different temperature pools including a cold plunge. Each pool has a plaque with temperature information as well as minerals used and benefits. Lots of towel hanging areas and multiple water fountains to refill your bottles. Newly added different pools which was great for a change. Just be careful with entering pools as steps are not easy to see due to darkness of water, they need light strips or something to show steps for safety, also its easy to skin knees on some rough surfaces so be careful. Check-in and booking is a fast simple process. Very large changing facilities with showers and toilets. Free open lockers for storage or paid locked ones available. Ample toilets. Child safety fence before entering pools. Overall an excellent relaxing experience.

The Deep Blue Sanctuary - After long days in the car and van on the road I had a sore back. This was such a welcomed relief, we had 2 visits and felt relaxed and rejuvenated for the onward journey. Thoroughly recommend this to any weary traveller, especially the night visit.

Amazing relaxation. - Amazing ! This would be the 4th or 5th time we've visited, and it definitely won't be the last ! Very relaxing nice variety of option with very positive friendly and attentive staff. I personally love the sensory caves the best. 10/10 experience !

Hidden extras - The booking should be more informative, the price for the experience should include towel and locker. It's fine to add robe as an extra, we weren't told until we turned up for the hot springs session. They also had not properly completed the booking when booked face to face the day before. Being hit for extra towel and locker was a shock and took the experience down bit from disappointment of added extra without our knowledge as we could have supplied towels and left phone and watches in our car.

Not a very memorable experience for me. - It took me a while to find my zen this morning, due to noisy plant machinery operating nearby the metal tub pools, the music helped drown out some of the generator noise; after about an hour I eventually found my zen. At alba springs and other establishments it takes me maybe ten minutes to relax. Staff are lovely and facilities are clean. The experience is average overall, but can be improved significantly for guests by just including a simple towel and robe in with the entry price, as it makes for a more luxurious experience, no body wash or shampoo either just makes the experience feel very cheap, it’s not a memorable experience for me, as it doesn’t feel like a retreat. Also giving couples one locker between two just feels very restrictive, it wasn’t all that busy. I have never been to a spa facility where body wash is not included. You have to walk on grass to get to the sun loungers, why not just deck the sun lounger area, I imagine it would make the locker room easier to clean and avoids soil from being dragged from outside into the changing area. I do however feel the 2 hour time limit ( normally) would be adequate as all of the pools are in close proximity, I was done in an 1 hour and 36 minutes. I see a lot of comments regarding the soap/ shampoo or lack off, so hopefully management takes note.

Cancellation - I cancelled my reservation days well in advance twice and they still debited my bank account without my authorisation. I am also still waiting for them to reply to my email. Perhaps you will respond now
