The excellent solution to explore Warsaw, if you don’t have much time. Join the walking tour with a professional local guide. Learning about the pre-war diversity and richness of Jewish Warsaw helps us understand the scale of the destruction that took place during the Holocaust. Walk About in Warsaw - I learned so much on this tour. I had spent a week walking around the city, but wanted to know more about the places I kept seeing. The tour guide gave us all kinds of interesting facts. Some of the places we went I would never have found on my own. He found us a couple of places to sit while he spoke of the area. His humor was great. After the tour, I happened to pass by him eating lunch and reading a book outside of a bookshop. I didn’t bother him, but thought, that is why he’s such a great tour guide. He loves learning.

Excellent guide, interesting tour - Jacek was an excellent guide for our tour. He was funny, sarcastic, knowledgeable and attentive to the group. The tour included many interesting stops in what used to be the Jewish ghetto, and gave a good high-level review of Jewish life in Warsaw before and during WW2. The POLIN museum is an excellent way to get more details about Jewish life in Poland following this tour.

Storyteller - Honestly speaking, there isn’t much left of the Jewish quarter. Our guide used what was left and told us stories to complete the picture. I was so focused that I forgot to take some photos I wanted, because I was preoccupied with his story telling. I enjoyed myself throughly.

Interesting and informative! - The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and we saw many fascinating places. I especially liked the way he made each place come alive and really appreciated going to some sites that “were off the beaten path.” I was very pleased that we got to spend time at the Warsaw Ghetto wall as well as the site where the ghetto bridge was; seeing and hearing more about their history was particularly meaningful. We covered a lot of ground and I learned so much on this tour! I highly recommend it!

Andrzej the (best) tour guide - Andrzej is a very good and likable guide! We learned a lot about the history, especially the time between 1939 and 1945. The tour itself has a really good route. You will see one step at a time how the ghetto was established and also why it has been shaped and used locally as it has been. I do not want to take any of this experience from you, that’s why I will not continue with a detailed description of the tour. Andrzej has a sense of humor that will take the seriousness out of the tragic and horrible topic. He is very good at giving you the details and the facts without taking it on to a boring road. We could always ask, if we wanted to know anything and he answered everything. Our group was quite big but this was not disturbing or somehow annoying. He is speaking very loud and clear :D. Andrzej led the group very safe through the city and made sure that the whole group was there before he started to talk again. We can 10/10 recommend!

Good tour - We did two tours, Jewish and historic. Both were good. Kept going at a decent pace. Shared a lot of information. The guide is a real character! Loves an analogy.
