Highlights
  • Krakowskie Przedmiescie - The main boulevard street of Warsaw, reminding you if the city’s royal past. Adorned with palaces, parks and monuments, including the Presidential Palace, Bristol Hotel and St. Cross Church, where the heart of Chopin is interred.
  • Old Town - Old medieval core of Warsaw with its red roofs, colourful houses and the Royal Castle is the most unlikely UNESCO Heritage Site, as it was fully reconstructed following the near full destruction during WW2. The reconstruction was done so meticulously that you will have hard time telling that it’s not old, and it set the example for the rest of the world.
  • New Town Square - Curiously named New Town, this part of the city was also established in the Middle Ages. It’s the place of birth of Maria Skłodowska-Curie. The Barbican, standing between the Old and New Town, is a conclusion ground of our walk. Thank you for joining!

Andrzej a tour guide made a difference. - It was an excellent experience. The guide Andrzej made the trip very interesting even for my younger daughter which is not easy. We liked his sense of humor even talking about tragic events from the past. Very recommended.

Fantastic tour guide. Highly recommended - Andresz made history come alive. Great humour and telling style. I thought the tour was 1 hour, but it was 2.5 hours and lots of new understanding about Warsaw. Highly recommended. Especially Andys engaging way of telling even the darkest chapters of the city.

Great guide, Great tour - Great guide! Wonderful delivery, kept everything interesting and fun. The tour itself was good, a shorter tour if you want a lighter day, or more time to explore on your own. Definitely recommend.

Potentially a very good walking tour. - I felt that the entertainment content overshadowed the factual/historical content, hence 4 ⭐. Ana our guide was good mixing the factual content with the comedy, however I would have liked the historical content to take priority over any entertaining commentary. So, let's have more history details please. Otherwise, it has the potential for an excellent walking tour .

tour skipped the free palace gardens. beautiful - Luke was a good tour guide. took one star away, since we walked to the hill with locks and the free palace gardens 100 steps away, not one mention about that or to show us. only by accident did i discover the next day.
