Highlights
  • Krakowskie Przedmiescie - The main boulevard street of Warsaw, reminding you if the city’s royal past. Adorned with palaces, parks and monuments, including the Presidential Palace, Bristol Hotel and St. Cross Church, where the heart of Chopin is interred.
  • Old Town - Old medieval core of Warsaw with its red roofs, colourful houses and the Royal Castle is the most unlikely UNESCO Heritage Site, as it was fully reconstructed following the near full destruction during WW2. The reconstruction was done so meticulously that you will have hard time telling that it’s not old, and it set the example for the rest of the world.
  • New Town Square - Curiously named New Town, this part of the city was also established in the Middle Ages. It’s the place of birth of Maria Skłodowska-Curie. The Barbican, standing between the Old and New Town, is a conclusion ground of our walk. Thank you for joining!

Fascinating, thought provoking walking tour with excellent guide - Fascinating and thought provoking walking tour. Andrzej was a knowledgable and interesting guide. He explained a complex really history well. He was funny and engaging but respectful to the all too often tragic events that had occurred. Recommend this tour.

Excellent guides - I took two of their walking tours: Jewish Warsaw and Historical Center. Each guide had a very different style, yet both of them were excellent.

Good experience and worth the time 😊 - Great introduction to Warsaw. Our guide (forgot his Polish name but he said we can call him “Jack”) says he was a former professor …. So he gave great info about the City which I would never have discovered myself. 👍

Interesting stories, but was hoping for more or a general tour - Our tour guide provided some interesting stories as we walked through old town, but I would have liked more of a general overview of the history, culture and more information about the specific buildings. Overall, the tour was much less informative than other similar tours we have had in other cities.

Got stood up and stranded with no communication - I'm leaving this review as we are currently stranded at the meeting site with no guide present. I do not recommend this tour at all. You run the risk of being stood up like us: very disappointed and wondering what to do. We have received no messages or contacts whatsoever, and I'll be contacting Trip Advisor for a refund. We booked this tour several days in advance and were excited to learn about Old Town Warsaw. Instead of an educational walk, we are left on our own while the company has our money. If you book this tour, good luck to you. This is the first time we've ever had this experience. I hate leaving a poor review but I don't know what else to do.
