  • Warsaw Barbican (Barbakan Warszawski) - Before you get there see on the way Royal Route leading to the Old Town, totally destroyed during WWII but painstakingly rebuilt to its historical original design.
  • Warsaw Ghetto - You see the place where almost half a million of Jews were kept in seclusion in 1940-1943. Now it is marked with Rappaport monument dedicated to heroes of ghetto, museum of Polish Jews, called Polin showing centuries of coexistance of christians and Jews, also Umschlagplatz, from where 300 000 Jews were deported to Treblinka death camp.
  • Museum of King Jan III’s Palace at Wilanow - This is one of very few palaces which survived all wars since it was built at the end of 17th c. Compared to Versaille, it is splendid baroque residence of king Jan Sobieski who was widely known as the one who defeated Turks in the battle of Vienna in 1683called “relief of Vienna”. The palace soon became the very first museum of art opened to public. Surrounded with picturesque park designed in various historical styles.

Post a picturesque city tour of Warsaw, where you have a chance to marvel at palaces and pavilions, travel down the Royal Route, saunter in the Old Town - recognized by UNESCO as a cultural heritage - and visit the birthplace of Madame Curie and Chopin’s residence, we break for lunch. Afterward, we proceed to the outskirts of Warsaw to explore the interiors of the 17th-century Wilanow Palace. Built by King Sobieski, acclaimed for his victory over the Turks in the Vienna battle, the palace later was the residence of noble households and established itself as one of Poland’s inaugural museums.

This magnificent Baroque palace (frequently referred to as the Polish Versailles) remains unaffected by wars, hence you can witness its authentic interiors and meander around its enchanting park designed in English and Italian styles.

The palace is closed on Tuesdays and is exclusively reserved for educator-guided tours on Wednesdays.
