- Stratford-upon-Avon - This tour has two pick-up points, with the first at Shakespeare’s Birthplace Coach Terminal in Stratford-upon-Avon at 9.00AM. Please note, we do not spend any time in Stratford-upon-Avon during this tour; it serves solely as a pick-up and drop-off location. The trip from Stratford-upon-Avon to Moreton-in-Marsh takes about 30 minutes.
- Moreton-in-Marsh - Our second pick-up point is at Moreton-in-Marsh rail station at 9.30AM, after collecting passengers from Stratford-upon-Avon. Again, we do not spend time in Moreton-in-Marsh; it is just a pick-up and drop-off point. However, there are restrooms available if needed before the journey to Bath.
- Cotswolds - Once all passengers are on board, we will embark on a scenic drive through the Cotswolds en route to Bath. The drive from Moreton-in-Marsh takes around 2 hours, but it will pass quickly! During the journey, your guide will share stories and information about the Cotswolds as you enjoy the stunning rural landscapes of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
- No. 1 Royal Crescent - Upon arriving in Bath, we will make a brief stop at the iconic Royal Crescent. Known as the “greatest example of Georgian architecture in the UK,” this impressive crescent of buildings is a perfect introduction to Bath.
- Bath - From the Royal Crescent, we will head to the heart of Bath, dropping you off near the famous Bath Abbey and Roman Baths. You have the option to join your guide for a 45-minute walking tour of this UNESCO World Heritage City, and you will have free time to explore and have lunch at your leisure. Lunch is not included; we recommend a quick lunch so you have ample time to explore, though the charming tea rooms and cafes are tempting! The journey from Bath to Stonehenge takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Stonehenge - One of the world’s most significant prehistoric sites, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stonehenge is much more than just ancient stones! The visitor centre features excellent multimedia displays and a reconstruction of a Neolithic village, offering insights into the lives of people who lived here 4000 years ago. A shuttle bus takes you to the stones, which come alive with the audioguide. Admission to Stonehenge is NOT included in the tour price, but we will pre-book your tickets and collect payment on the day to ensure the best price. Please bring cash or a payment card and budget an extra £12-18 for children or £20-28 for adults. National Trust or English Heritage members should bring their valid membership card for FREE entry.
- Cotswolds - Relax as your expert guide drives you back through the Cotswolds countryside, dropping you off either at Moreton-in-Marsh station or in Stratford-upon-Avon.
- Moreton-in-Marsh - Guests disembarking at Moreton-in-Marsh station should arrive around 6.15PM.
- Stratford-upon-Avon - The journey from Moreton-in-Marsh to Stratford-upon-Avon takes about 30 minutes. Guests disembarking in Stratford-upon-Avon should arrive around 6.45PM.

There’s no need to take multiple exhausting day trips from London - instead, make your base in Shakespeare’s hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon, or stay in the pretty Cotswold market town of Moreton-in-Marsh. From here, you can join our Bath & Stonehenge tour, as well as several other small group guided tours of the Cotswolds. - The tour duration of approximately 10 hours includes travel time from the pick up points and between the stops of the tour. From Stratford-upon-Avon, it takes approx 30 minutes to reach Moreton-in-Marsh, then from Moreton-in-Marsh it takes approx 2 hours to reach Bath, travelling through the beautiful Cotswolds. It takes approx 1 hour to reach Stonehenge from Bath. On the return journey, it takes approx 2 hours to reach Moreton-in-Marsh from Stonehenge through the Cotswolds, and a further 30 minutes to reach Stratford-upon-Avon.
