Unique and Fun Experience - What a unique and fun experience...it was unlike anything I had done before...very surreal and not your normal attraction you think about while in DC.

It was great. - It was really amazing. I love the experience, the art was just so beautiful. The pride wasn’t bad thought but wish they had more rooms.

Exhilarating - The staff was so helpful with any questions our group had. They were very kind and patient in showing how most of the simulations worked, and most of all the experience of it all was so amazing to say the least. Our only regret is we wish we would have tried the drinks at the bar, but we were so mesmerized by the display we didn’t even think about it until after we left.

Great experience, but beware the app - We visited the Artechhouse to view their spring cherry blossom installation. It was unlike anything else we have experienced. Instead of the image mapping being projected on a building or surface far away, it is all around you on the walls and floor. The imagery is sharp and continuously changing. Cushions were provided so you could sit on the floor and let the show evolve around you. It takes about 20 minutes to see the whole loop. Be advised the musical score can be a bit on the loud side, but not painful. The smaller side exhibits were some of our favorites. The installed technology was aware of your presence in the space and would respond with images of cherry blossoms bursting from your footprints or your "cartoonized" form projected on the wall shooting rays of energy from your moving extremities. My only complaint is that the app which you were encouraged to put on your phone to enhance the experience does not inform you that images and videos you capture through the app are not saved to your phone. So, I do not have much of a record of my visit to look back on. This was very disappointing.

Cool concept - This was such a fun exhibit and nothing we've experienced before. Our 10 year old loved it. Some of the interactive displays didn't work the greatest or didn't have instructions, but it was a cool concept.

It was cool, I like the... - It was cool, I like the interactive portion where the floor moves with you and the voice activated artwork. I do, however, wish the experience was longer than 20 minutes and a little bit bigger in space as far as like the art that was presented so far. The karaoke section didn’t really actually give instructions so that was kind of frustrating but overall it was cool to experience. One time adventure.

Too little identification or explication of the phenomena but clearly a lot of work. - We saw the Van Gogh exhibit in Paris but this was so different. I think we could have used a guide since we did not understand much of the exhibit. Two staff worked with us for a bit to explain the concept but it still was difficult to absorb.

Bye, bye $60. - I should have read the reviews. Two people. $60. One big room with a pricey bar. We skipped the $13 cocktails. Perhaps the drinks would have improved the 20 minute repeating psychedelic flower movie. The side rooms were marginal at best. Half of the AI aviators were non-functional. The drawing robotic arm was pretty unimpressive for 2024. The microphone video game of “shoot the flowers” got old fast. Before leaving, I returned to the big room before checking out the “lean in, lean” out exhibit. I literally asked on my way out, “It’s just the one big room and a few little side rooms, right? We didn’t miss more stuff?” The friendly clerk replied, “Nope. Just the one floor. You didn’t miss anything.” I did miss my $60 for going in…
