Cruise by historical landmarks and highlights such as the Capitol Building, the Washington Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the White House, Rosslyn, Georgetown, Pentagon and others. Marvel at the Lincoln Memorial as the illuminating lights reflect over the Lincoln Memorial Pool.
- Panoramic night tour operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early to secure your seat. Everyone sits up top unless otherwise requested (if option selected)
- Night Tour is not a hop-on hop-off tour

DC monuments by night - We did the Sunset Tour of Washington DC on Big Bus. Our driver, Ms. Gale was amazing!! Ms. Gale was very informative and entertaining, which made the experience all the enjoyable. 😁❤️

Amazing Tour! - The sunset tour was amazing! Gale the driver/tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone had a great time. Would definitely recommend for anyone who needs a taste of D/C!

A memorable tour thanks to Clarence - My bride had never been to DC before and I wanted her to see all the monuments lit up at night. It was a beautiful evening and we were fortunate to have Clarence Allen as our guide. He was fantastic! He made it a memorable vacation experience. BigBus is lucky to have him. If you go to DC, I highly recommend you do the sunset tour and that you ask to be on Clarence’s bus.

Beautiful Tour of D.C - Ms. Gale was our driver and she was great! She took us to all the places to see it was a lot of fun. This was our first time touring on a bus and my family and I enjoyed our experience to the fullest!

DC at night!! - Clarence is really knowledgeable and very funny. Getting the guests involved to participate along with taking some stops to give perspective and recent history lessons. Would definitely say the night tour is a must do!

Good bus tour, very bad management - The tour is good. We enjoyed seeing various monuments at night time. The driver slows down in sync with the audio.
The management for this tour is awful. Time was changed multiple times. We did get email of the change but the message was bad. It stated the new time for a date range but it is NOT our date! When inquiring, no reply. The ticket we get a week before tour has all wrong information and they didn't bother to update. More importantly, the meeting place is not what it says on the ticket. It's also confusing where to board or whether you are required to go to redemption point. We actually had to get a Uber to a second location printed on the ticket after noticing the first location didn't feel right. We were seconds to miss the bus. Never had a Viator tour like this before!

Great driver but route was not what I expected. - The driver Clarence Altea was great. Very animated and good information. Unfortunately, it was difficult to hear him as he didn’t have any kind of megaphone or other device.
The bus was comfortable. Overall the route was okay but not as spectacular as I’d hoped.
