Library of Congress - Following this, visitors will explore the Library of Congress, the official research library serving the U.S. Congress and recognized as the national library of the United States. As the oldest federal cultural institution in the country, the 1897 Thomas Jefferson Building showcases Italian-Renaissance style architecture. A highlight inside is the stunning circular main reading room, featuring a 160-foot ceiling.

U.S. Capitol Visitor Center - Within the Capitol, the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center serves as a spacious underground extension of the Capitol complex, accommodating up to 4,000 tourists and providing additional space for the U.S. Congress. Here, visitors will learn about the distinctive features of the House, the Senate, and the U.S. legislative process, as well as the history and architectural development of the Capitol.
The tour concludes with our guide providing access passes and information on security protocols for the visitor galleries of the current chambers of the House of Representatives and/or the Senate, allowing for exploration at your own pace.
