Engaging tour!! - Kate, our super knowledgeable tour guide, was absolutely amazing! I did a girls’ trip with my daughter, elementary school aged, and Kate was perfect with her, explaining all the monuments in interesting ways, having her do neat activities and kept her (and me) very engaged! I love DC, and this tour was a great way to show its greatness to my kid!

Great Introduction to Washington DC by Annemarie - Annemarie was our tour guide. She was personable and friendly and accommodating to all members in our group. She gave us many stories and additional information about each of the memorials and monuments that we would not have been able to acquire if we had taken a tour by ourselves. A couple of examples: she showed us a picture of the Korean war memorial soldiers in the Washington DC snow which gave us a striking example of what it must’ve been like for the soldiers in combat in mountainous Korea. She showed us a sketch of the original drawing done by the college student who won the Vietnam Memorial contest. She encouraged us to go see the original sketch at the Library of Congress, which we did on this trip That recommendation to go to the Library of Congress was a wonderful recommendation as we spent hours there exploring the treasures it contains. Annemarie also gave us time for questions and any input we had. She also gave us some wonderful recommendations for restaurants of which we have enjoyed – all delicious. Thank you for a wonderful tour Annemarie and a wonderful introduction to Washington DC.

MALL TOUR PLUS - Annemarie gave a detailed and entertaining tour. I had been looking forward to this experience for some time and was pleasantly surprised at how much was involved. Annemarie took us through so many different historical sites including the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Wall, the Martin Luther King memorial, The Korean War and WW2 memorials and so many others. As a history buff I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and learned so much.

Tour of National Mall and Washington Monument - Annmarie is highly knowledgeable and provided many interesting historical facts along the way. We travel with our two son, 6 and 10, and she was able to keep them engaged and allow them to ask questions. Annmarie is very friendly, accommodating, kind and really knows her stuff! We had an incredible experienced we all left with so much more knowledge and love being able to go up the Washington monument. I highly recommend Babylon tours, and Annmarie as a tour guide.

Good tour, small group size is ideal. - Good tour to hit the highlights of the museum. They are pre-set, so if there are galleries that are important to you which aren't covered, plan to stay following the tour to explore on your own. The museum itself is phenomenal, and it helped to have a guide to provide context to what we were seeing.
