Get ready to cover approximately a mile’s distance (1.6km). Although there will be some resting areas, not every stop offers seating. Carry a water bottle for hydration. Remember to bring along an inquisitive mind (and don’t forget your camera!).
Intrigued about who I am?
Thrilled you’re interested! I am Shelley, a person passionate about discussing human history. Starting out as a ranger with the National Park Service (you know, the folks with the distinct hats), you might have encountered me at places like The Frederick Douglass House, Cape Cod National Seashore or The Chesapeake and Ohio Canal during my seven-year tenure. Holding a Master’s degree in museum studies and a Bachelor’s in anthropology and linguistics, I can’t wait to meet you!
